When FOB's first album came out, all my friend's were going nuts over it and it's all they ever talked about. So I began to strongly dislike the band because of it. Then I actually listened to the song and loved it so much I listened to it ever since xD
My friends never knew I liked them though until they started not liking them anymore. 'Twas odd.

I never used to like Fall Out Boy (FUCT stuff), then I started listening to TTTYG and feel in love with it! And then their other albums grew on me, and I've loved them ever since.

I saw Sugar We're Going Down on the MTV2 rock countdown and loved it so I bought From Under The Cork Tree. The first time I listened to it, I thought it was crap. And then I listened to it more and more and read the lyrics over and over and listened more and more and thus grew to absolutely love them. And if anyone thinks I suck for not loving them right away: "This is side one, flip me over, I know I'm not your favorite record; the songs you grow to like never stick at first..."

i wasnt really into the whole punk thing. me and my friend were watching mtv and sugar were going down came on and she was like" were going down,down! I LOVE THIS SONG!" and i was like" I dont really like it all tha much" but as the weeks went on, it came on more and more and it eventually got stuck in my head and, if u know me, then u know that any song that gets stuck in my head i instantly love! so i eventuall bought the cd and then started hearing about tttyg and eventually bought that!

Contraceptive Arguments I heard Sugar and liked it so I started talking to a friend on MSN about them and he sent me a couple more songs which I liked so I got FUTCT then TTTYG. Then I became a major fan, they fast became my favourite band, I joined this guild and here I am. same exact way

I was watching MuchMusic (as usual) It was summer and i dont have air conditioning (sp?) so i was hanging out in my basement and i heard dance dance. Seeing it was the only movie in the day that DIDNT have an insane amount of video hoes I put the remote down and watched it. And the res as they say... is history

Listen to my sap story,
It was one day, I was really depressed, I wanted to either kill myself or run away, I couldn't take anything or anyone anymore. So I turned on my radio, and there is was, Fall out boy. Their song made me happy made me forget about everything and everyone, I was in my own world again, happy and free. So I always listen to Fall out Boy, they saved me , they saved my life, I wana thank them for making muisc or else, I don't know here I'd be today.

Well, gather round children.. xD When I was in grade 5 or 6, an older high schooler who helped out a lot around the library. I saw her wearing a FOB shirt, and I had no idea who they were. (At that point they weren't as HUGE as they were now.) She wasn't one that I would emulate, though I did keep hearing more and more about the band, and I'd turn up the sound on stuff I didn't even know they played. Gradually the FOB-session grew to what it is today: scary. (;
