Hikaru was actually born in an alternate timeline, as a member of the Ijutsu tribe, a race of humans with cat-like ears, and tails and possessed White Magic. However, due to a strange phenomenon occuring in his timeline, he was transported into this one, and was quick to hide his cat ears and tail with some of his Magic. However, before he was transported to our timeline, he carried with him, a special katana called Kawaige, whose blade was made of pure spiritual energy, unable to cut through flesh but able to cut through other things and also able to release waves of invisible force from the blade with a single swing of the blue blade. Hikaru quickly enrolled in the academy and lives by himself, trying to find a way to get home, but on top of all that, Hikaru has a super-genius level of intelligence and logic skills plus inhuman agility (from his Ijutsu genetics) and he possesses a mastery of computer programming, martial arts and singing, with his voice able to reach any range he wishes. Hikaru keeps Kawaige hidden with his magic at all times but he also loves nature in all forms and some of his white magic has to do with nature, with his race's deity being Gaia, spirit of the Earth. Also, like the rest of his tribe, he is a pacifist and will only fight if the situation demands it and there is no other choice.

Hikaru walked into the classroom, panting, and gave the teacher a slip explaining his lateness to class and went to take his seat near the far window near the board. Hikaru quickly got out his school book for the subject and rapidly wrote out the notes, with perfect handwriting. Hikaru wondered when the test would be so he could get it done already, but Hikaru prefered the science, english and computer subjects to the other subjects though, but he was smart enough to get extremely high marks, thanks to his super genius level of intelligence and logic{ 尢 }
