I would LOVE to see Ino or Chouji pull something out and kick some rear with someone... It'd be nice to see the entire team pull something throughout this battle.
Personally, I hope that they beat Ka&Hi BEFORE Naruto (or anyone else) comes 9.9; I'd like to see them "win" (or at least beat one of them) before "help arrives"Someone winning without Naruto's help? Preposterous! rofl I agree with you, it'd be nice to see InoShikaChou pulling together again and getting revenge for their sensei, without having to fall back on Naruto.

I rather like this chapter, too. Meh. *blinks at signature* Guess Shikamaru fans are either BLIND or we just think alike. xd ;; And thanks. But maybe they're right. That I'm a Shikamaru fan so I refuse to see how stupid it may be. I can see some stupid. But I see a lot of awesome, too. I liked it. Shikamaru yet again stood up for himself. It's not that he was passive; it's just he wouldn't "bother" to do something.
I do like Ino and Chouji and all, but I think that what's going on so far is fair. And, I will look forward to when Chouji and Ino (for example) get their time to shine and show us what they've been doing. Hopefully they, too, have learned something new.
I see more awesome then stupid, as well. And, agreed.
I think that in time, hopefully soon, we will see Ino and Chouji's talents as well. Right now, it's Shikamaru. Right now, I think it's best that he take on Hidan. Sometimes, people can get in the way, sometimes they help. For now, I think this is what's best. If it changes, it changes. And really, who does he have to "look cool" for? It's really not about that -shrugs-I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. Feh. I'll be honest. Whatever Ino needs to be... xd Sakura and Ino are more equal than I thought =/, or at least that's my point of view, for example, Sakura uses Chakra control in order to use that monstruous strength right? well, Ino has to focus a lot on using her techniques, since it's all about ''Mind control techniques''. But, again, Sakura comes first, that leaves Ino in a secondary role, more like a copy of Sakura I think Sakura could kick Ino's a**, but that's just a guess. xd But I see what you're saying. They are very similar.

I think it's pretty lame to say they've always fallen back on Naruto. Chouji took out Jiroubu single-handedly, and Shikamaru fell on Temari (and into her love pillows <3). So if anything they've hardly depended on Naruto... In fact, didn't they save his a** in the Chuunin exams, or was that Gaara? Gaara wouldn't do that... I need to read that part again. xp

OH MY GOD It will be very difficult to take you seriously from now on. the same person Children in Japan aren't the same as they are here. They are thinkers. The average IQ is 111. Here it's 90. Kids just plain like more thriving situations. Those which call for risk and variety. Not just the same-ol', same-ol'. Oh damn! I wish I lived in Juhpan with teh animes and the Pokymans. sad The results of a test don't make them better "thinkers" than American children; it just underscores the fact that their education system is more rigorous.

These are two scenario's i would see if Ino does control Hidan. 1) Ino controls Hidan, so now Shikamaru and all them attack Kakuzu, but Hidan being immortal; Kakuzu could just kill him and leaving Ino's body dead and her soul along with it. So now Hidan will be free and now Team 10 will be left with three members. 2) Ino controls but if in danger quickly goes back to her body she wasted Chakra and thus having Shikamaru using his Shadow bind getting back to how he has Hidan now. So why do it? So as I mentioned earlier, Kakuzu must be fought with Kakashi, Chouji and Ino.

I hate to say it, but fans of certain characters can't help but be somewhat biased. My friend is a Kakashi fan, and though he likes other characters, he always prioritizes his favorite. I also get a little sad if I tease him. I need a real guy to tease. Teasing a fake guy gets no reaction. It's almost sort of lonely. Yeah. I remember that, too. And Kakuzu clearly heard at least some of it because he said something along the lines of, "Impressive, yes, that is my weakness..." A lot of people say Shikamaru is the kind of guy who just "goes with the flow." That's what he wants us to think. The guy is always taking risks. Treading where he never has socially, physically, and mentally. So are the others, but in a way Shikamaru is sort of testing the water. Because he is scared of some things, he feels as though he will fail. This subconscious fear commonly leads to failure (not just for him but for people in general), and so he is devastated and sort of has this, "I knew it" reaction. I'd say his lack of enthusiasm is from a lack of care. His parents are literally so busy/wrapped up in each other I wouldn't be surprised if he was ignored a lot. He had to become very independent fast and it started to become every time he saw his father it was just for training. The only quality time they really have anymore is when they tend the deer, and even then his dad is probably still rambling on about his son's training and upcoming missions... A Ninja family is a busy family, but particularly his because it is so small. A family like Kiba's has a lot of room for affection and comfort, which is why he is such a motivated guy. (Again, this is all just speculation on my part.) A happy person is not unmotivated. If Shikamaru was happy, he'd be more passionate about his work. Something bothers him on a regular basis. Did I spell it "brians?" Just wondering. Shikamaru is smart. But he's ignorant. He does some of the most obvious things... The boy has a wisdom of 4 and a charisma of 6. He'll never make it in life if he can't figure s**t out! xd
