About 2 weeks ago I got one brown, and one blue magical giftbox and an enchanted wooden trunk by entering this link and changing the last numer a few times: http://www.gaiaonline.com/profile/inventory.php?event=1Since then I haven't gotten any more items sad What determines how many times you get a rare event gift?

I've been doing it occasionally, I got a giftbox the first time I did it but haven't gotten anything since. I don't know if I just don't post enough yet or if I'm just too new...

It is my belief that the parameter after "event=" is meant to be a hash of some server-side value (this may also be why it throws a 'serial number not valid' or somesuch error on occasion).
The 'personal favorite' that has nothing after "event=" most likely just checks the most recent rare event that you were awarded and goes down the list that way, (possibly) eliminating any need to change the argument by hand.
Sorry if this is laced with programming jargon; it's how I roll.
Edit: Most recent run has yielded nothing. Since this technique effectively clears out any rare-event backlog you might have, they're probably occuring at their normal frequency again.
