maybe i should've posted my artwork here instead of in my profile. that way, i would show that i have put about or more effort into this guild. well, i'm trying not to scan my drawings daily, what i'm trying to do is scan them in one day. but maybe i should go daily again like i used to. heh.

I went to an art school for a bit (not for art, but for graphic design), but I didn't really learn anything in any of my classes that I didn't already know, so I dropped that college. sweatdrop

Did you take a life drawing class? You should take a life drawing class!

Of all of the classes I've taken, I think that one really had a big effect on my drawing.

There weren't any life drawing classes in my major, so... no -.-;;

Edit: my drawings have been sparse because I totally expected my tablet to get here today, but, of course, Newegg took it's sweet time shipping it so now I'm not going to get it 'til Tuesday ;_;

I don't really use pasatels that much so I wouldn't know X3;;; sorry

I'm a fan of digital color and pens and pencils. Charcoal is kinda messy for me but I like the solid lines.

I don't remember when I started drawing but my mom has an old phonebook with my scribbles in it. XD

she told me I said "look mommy, I made your book all pretty!"

or something along those lines.


Hey I've got a question, what about a section for animation? I think someone suggested that earlier. Just another topic to have animations critiqued. 3nodding

not just the draw'n part of the animation but also the animation itself. I took a few animation classes already so I know a little bit about it and I can help critique

well, you'd be the only one with the animation pics. maybe when a lot more people go for the animation part of drawing. you should put some of your animation as your art work. I think its the same as artwork anyways. ^_^

if you think about it, it would be, just at bunch of pictures in a row moving quickly creating the illusion of movement 3nodding

Prismacolor makes the best chalk pastels. I love them...so...much...

Watercolor, just try for the cheap 1$ sets until you want to get into getting the tubes. I know Prismacolor also makes water color colored pencils...we got to play with em when the rep came, it was like Xmas we left with so much shwag.

Pens... I use sharpies...XD I'd say experiment with some different kinds.
