Aaron, still holding Julie tightly, pulled her across the street towards the two girls. "Hello." He said quietly.

Moon looked at the two coming across the street walking away she walked to the sidewalk.

Just to let you know, I am playing Alanta because - p h y x a t e d - is away, and she asked me to.

"No, come back." Alanta said to the wolf. Seeing Alanta was occupied, Piria stepped forward and was the one to speak to the couple. "Hello." Her voice was somewhat raspy from a few hour's unuse.

''Hmm?'' Moon asked turning back to her. SHe walke back up to her.

Vampires? Julie mouthed at Aaron, not so subtly, because he knew that the other girl had seen, so he looked at her for an answer.

"How is it you're so smart?" Alanta looked quizically at Moon. "I know wolves are intelligent, but you're more so than most."

Since Alanta seemed to be continuing her conversation with the wolf, Piria took a small step away from her friend to speak to the other two. "I'm a vampire - sort of," she answered the unspoken question. "Alanta is an angel - also only partly. She's a half-breed."

''I just am.'' Moon said chuckling to herself.

"Really?" Said Julie excitedly. Aaron grinned. An angel? Interesting. "I'm Aaron, and this is Julie, and we, I suppose are now the welcoming party for all the new magical creatures in New York."

Piria laughed appreciatively at the joke, and that broke Alanta from her fascination. “You forgot to introduce Moon – she’s special too,” she chided.

Nodding Moon laid down.

"Great, well, hello Moon." Said Julie, cautiously approaching the wolf with her hand out. Aaron looked at her incredulously but continued to speak. "Are you from around the area? Our place is just near here."

Nodding Moon stood up listening in.

"Alanta lives a little way from here," Piria pointed in a direction several blocks past Central Park. "As for me, I don't need my own place. I usually just stay wherever I am for the night, and move on in the morning."

''Really.'' Moon said quietly.

Piria of course couldn't understand her, but Alanta turned to peer at Moon. "Why?"
