All right. So I work with this putz who thinks he knows about guns, and he doesn't. He calls magazines clips, he thinks the price of a magazine is related to the capacity, and he thinks the Mini 14 is an overall better weapon system than the AR 15 because his friends have Minis. This kid is a retard, and he is giving buying advice.
Well, to be honest, I thought the same about magazine capacity...... sweatdrop

Though I'm sure what brand the mag is is also a major factor in it's price.
Well, if all other factors are the same, price DOES depend on capacity. The only mag I know of that costs more than a C-Mag is that weird ******** of a 125-round drum. But look at Magpul... $13-some for a 20, $14/17-some for a 30.
He was talking about a bolt action 16 gauge shotgun magazine.
If you can FIND one... xd
Yeah. I don't know why my friend bought the gun. It's cool, but its pretty useless.

So, basically they are only useful as hunting rifles.

doesnt have to be used for hunting really

12ga slugs are pretty lethal and with a scope it makes a great delivery system

They're fun to shoot, plainly. I have a bolt-action .410 and like it quite a lot.

I came across this and wondered why anyone would choose wad cutters to fend off a behemoth.

Because that barrel is precisely 3mm too thin.

Also, you can cast wadcutters far easier than anything else, but that's just lazy talk.

It said 6'5 while guys over 6' are common there aren't many above 6'3. Also if I recall aren't wad cutters designed for target shooting rather than self defense? I recall watching this murder mystery thing where a guy was gunned down with wad cutters and they mentioned it was a strange choice in ammo because they aren't very effective for killing.

better than fmj or lead round nose ammo for defense

and the only wadcutter loads that will properly cycle in an auto is semi-wadcutter
