You can always do Captains and Generals in an RP. Just go where the fight is.
But Senators don't really do much but sit and talk on Coruscant, or go back home to rest. I mean, Amidala was probably the most energetic senator, and even she didn't go too many places.
It just doesn't have a point. Its like someone Roleplaying as the President in a WW2 RP...

Good points, gentlemen. But then, I was the type that nearly fell asleep during the politic-y talks on Coruscant as they appeared in the various EU novels ... whee 'course, that's probably because I've always thought that Borsk fellow was a complete wanker ...

Should Mordranna be able to sense any disturbance in the Force, regarding what's about to happen? Or, is the more likely scenario something along to lines o' being in Hope Eagle's mess hall, chatting and joking with the Squires, or some such?

She can, though Neb's going to get some work with the force done as well. Imperius either will be forced to fight Neb, or fight a NR fleet equipped with a heavy dose of Battle Medidtation...

I thought so. 3nodding Thus the "Jedi stuff" line. Guess it's a good thing I had Mordranna do some war games in the interim, eh? mrgreen

Huh...wonder what the next phase of Chidee's blitz is going to be? Right, Mustafar is nonaligned, and it would give a big boost to him, he really wants it (I would think), so he might try dipolmacy or something. Umm...promises of glory, a return to former power, a promise to make it the capital of his nation (at least, until Coruscant is taken, and maybe even still then)...
Hmm, then, he'll just be taking lots of planets. If this episode draws to close, he'll just be doing it in the interim, I'm sure.
Oh, and Dark Angel, your statements in the RP; true, very true. That's why one of Chidee's secret projects is trying to develop a working Brainsucker (TM).

Oh, almost forgot; Mustafar shares a proud cultural heritage with us, so to deny us the right to be one people, that would be a crime. And Telti, well, we share a similar heritage, and taking it was also necessary for our border security. But, just let me have Mustafar, and I'll stop there. That'll be enough appease me, really.

Hrm ... you think the Lusankya and Wedge showing up in Yavin space is overdoing it? sweatdrop But then, this is the big one, after all, so it makes sense to pull out the big guns ...

Not at all.
It would make perfect sense that if Imperius were to attack the last stronghold of the Republic, that he would encounter such resistance. I would not even be suprized if Luke himself joined the flights.
If I were in his place, however, things would be much different.
