I currently have a Guilmon, pending digivolution.

I plan on going to Wargrowlmon, and then to Megidramon.

How would I do that? Wargrowlmon Dark Digivolve, or Gallantmon slide?

You are unable to obtain Megidramon through Wargrowlmon. In order to obtain Megidramon you would need to use
BlackWarGrowlmon + Shadramon
MetalGreymon + GrapLeomon
MetalGreymon + Persiamon
SkullSatamon + Sandiramon
WarGrowlmon + Megadramon

Concerning Dark Digivolve:

#1 Using Dark Digivolve on something that already digivolves into a Virus type. Unless the digimon has Dark, Black, or Waru in its name, Dark Digivolution does not work for it. In lamest terms, a large majority Virus type digimon cannot dark digivolve. (sorry, but that's just how it works.)
Example: WarGrowlmon --DarkDigivolve--> Megidramon
(From the Dark Digivolve Do and Do Nots Thread, talking about cases it looks like it would work but it doesn't given the way we deal with Dark Digivolve)

Ways to get Megidramon from WarGrowlmon:
DNA digivolve a WarGrowlmon and a Megadramon

Thanks, that's a lot of paths. But my only option appears to be DNA Digivolution. New goal to strive for. Guilmon and I will get right down to it!

I noticed Gallantmon is a Restricted digimon, what does that entail exactly? Would I not be able to receive him from normal digivolution or---?

It means you are unable to use mutate digivolution and he is considered a high ranking digimon in the roleplay. You will however be able to normally Digivolve into him without worry.

If you want to do wargrowlmon + megadramon you actually can't digivolve your wargrowlmon to gallantmon unless you plan to get another. Once a digimon is digivolved for all art purposes that is its form and you can't use earlier ones.

I was thinking I would just di-digivolve him when I got there. But if not then I'll just have a higher goal of 2,500 posts.

That is correct. You would have to participate in contests/events to get more digimon. They usually pertain to dice rolling, RNGing, RPing, first to x page or art submissions.

AncientGreymon is a contest only Digimon. Unfortunately you just missed out on him being given away and most likely he will not be given out for at least a year.

I didn't see Omnimon Zwart on the DNA list or the Sprite List.

Did I miss him, or is he just not available?

I wonder because I am planning on a Koromon to Blackwargreymon and DNA Digivolving with a friend who might get a Tsunomon to BlackMetalGarurumon...
