vasily looked around "you know that is kind of strange how they kicked us out. they must be doing something important" he closed his eyes and started to walk away dragging night with him. "so what else is there to do in this place?" he asked almost walking into a wall before opening his eyes.

Looking around, Night saw that the sun was already setting.
She thought about it for a moment. Her eyes lightened up.
"Do you guys know what time it is?"
Like an answer to her question, a distant whistle and an explosion was heard. The streets were empty where they stood.

"The new year. I just realized that they're having a festival and we are going to miss it! They have a dragon too...and fireworks!"
Nights eyes glowed childishly. She took Vasilys hands to her own.
"Can we please go?"

he looked at her and smiled warmly "of course" he said happily, he was always looking for a good time and another excuse to drink.
he grabbed her hand and almost yanked her off her feet as he ran towards the commotion and noise smiling.

The place of the festival was very crowded. There was an empty square in the street, a place where the performers could work.
A man was currently riding a unicycle, while the unicycle stood on a ball and the ball stood an an elephants back. The elephant also made bubbles with its nose. Crowd cheered at the man, and many other men were jumping also to the elephants back. They made a tower of men while the
people around gasped in awe.
Lots of multicolour tents were in the edges of the square, graphic signs in front of them pointed out their purpose.

vasily smiled and clapped upon seeing this. he smiled at night. before noticing a tent off to the side advertising spirits. he looked at night and started slowly walking towards the tent.

The tent he entered was dark army green. It was rather large and there were many tables inside. It was also kind of crowded.

(yea its booze) he moved to the bar pushing his way through the crowd. he sat at one of the stools. pulling night with him. he looked at all of the bottles on the bar. and picked one he turned to night "do you drink?" he asked her grinning.

"I have never drinked that" she said, shaking her head slightly.
Someone dropped a glass in the floor, making a racket but nobody really cared about it.

he smiled pushing the glass at her. "here try it" he said grinning at her and ordering another for himself downing it quickly. he grinned at her, he wasnt used to the strong alcohol. he started to feel slightly giddy and he couldnt stop smiling.
