The ending ticked me off.

I hate when they plan on sequels ahead of time and give people no sense of closure.

I mean, I can handle more Batman movies.

I don't think we need any more Halloween movies. 22 is more than enough

Nope, they're remakes. But personally, they might as well be new installments to me.

And they're also coming out with Halloween 2 later this month.

I've never been a big fan of horror movies, usually because I see no point in getting scared on purpose. Having 22 such movies on pretty much the same thing is a tad overkill.

Technically, Jason died for good in the 8th Jason movie. They sold the franchise after that, and he was melted down to nothing in acid or something at the end. Everything afterwards came from another company that wanted to revive the franchise.

But seriously, after like the 3rd movie, it's not about the horror, it's just seeing a near-immortal serial killer brutally murder people in tons of different ways.
