Terra looked up as she saw X run away. "Wait!" She stood up and started to run after X. Suddenly she stopped and turned around. "Come on!" She yelled at Kurai. Without waiting she grabbed Kurai's wrist and practicly dragged her away.

"Nice of you to join us again, little girl." Cleopatra turned and her crimson eyes burrowed into Kari's eyes. "I didn't know you knew Egyptian sorcery. Yours isn't as advanced as mine and Tirains, though." She laughed again. "Now, let's get to the army!" She slammed her hand down onto the rock. It cracked and the ground around them started to fall into a secret lair. The river's ground went back to it's normal stage, making the room black. Cleopatra used her ability to get them to the ground safely. She then whispered some strange words and fire appeared on torches that were on the walls. The light lit up the room. They were standing on a porch like thing. Below them, were thousands and thousands of statues of animal like creatures that were standing on their hind legs. They looked like wolfs, but yet human like. "Now... let's get to work." She led Tirain down some steps towards a slab of stone.
"Oh, they've been calling me Tirain for some odd reason too." Skyler sighed."Tirain?" Smoke scratched her head and looked around. She walked over to the bed and grabbed something that wasn't there. she whispered, "i'm surprised this came with me." A book appeared as she walked away from the area. "Now... let's see." She sat down next to Skyler and flipped throught the book. He looked over her shoulder as she suddenly stopped at a page. It was her family tree. "I'm at the page that's dated back to about this time in history... erm.. you get my hunch. And..." She flipped the page a couple of times then stopped, "Ah, there she is. Cleopatra."Skyler looked at the name, "Wait... you're actually related to her?"Smoke nodded. "yeah i'm not really proud of it either. But if you look, the father of her son was a man named Tirain."
"Ok, but what does that have to do with me?" Skyler questioned.Smoke looked at the tree and pointed to an empty line, "They had twins. One was a male, the other female. The male is my super great grandpa. His sister dissappeared when they were born. The maids raised him here in the temple, but no one's sure what happened to the female." Smoke looked at Skyler, "In other words, you might be one of her descendants, meaning we'd be related!" She said excitedly.
"Woah.. wait. So how would all of this work out? Wouldn't I have dark and light abilities as well?""Not necessarily. Cleopatra had Ligh and Dark abilitis, the same as Evil and myself. We're the first children from her line of the family to have either abiities. and since Evil is in my body with me, it gives me both light and dark. And Tirain's abilities were earth and sand." She flipped through the pages of the book.Skyler snorted, "Uh. yeah about that. I can't control sand. I can't be the descendant."
Smoke looked at him then grinned, "But sand is a form of earth. It's rock, isn't it?"
"WEll... yeah but..." Skyler was stumped."All it is is finely grounded earth. I have an idea." She walked over to the bed and shoved some plants under the blanket and squished some particles together to form the shape of a female's body. She then grabbed Skylers hand and went invisible, "We're going to the desert." She started to run.

Kari looked around, the creatures disturbed her. She tried to get out of the vines, but they where tightly wrapped around her. She growled in frustration, 'hopefully they can get here in time...' She thought to her self. She tried to form a dark ball to turn off the torches and give her time for an escape, but her powers wouldn't coperate with her. This added to her frustration.

X relized how fast he was running, but he now had a feeling that his mistress was in danger. He turned his head to make sure the others where following, they where, although the purple haired one looked exausted. He stopped and waited for them to catch up.

Smoke finally stopped. She was by a river of some type. She shifted, "This place seems oddly familiar..." She looked around.
Skyler looked around as well. He had a strange sensation over come his body. "Woah...""What?" Smoke looked at him.
"I just had a strange feeling come over me. I had this same feeling when..." His eyes widdened, "When i felt those strange plants!" He looked down at the river.
Smoke looked too. "Are the plants in the river?"
"No... they... they're under it..." HE walked to the bank and stepped into the water. It was very deep. It went up to his shoulders about seven feet into it. He walked back to Smoke, dripping wet. "I wasn't even to the middle of it. I wonder how we're suppose to get there.." Smoke grabbed her head and fell to her knees. She started to see something.. "Kari.." her eyes glazed over as she fell."Smoke!" Skyler caught her. He wasn't sure of what to do. He held her up so she wouldn't get hurt.
(In Smoke's mind)
"Come one Tirain, we must get this started. Strap her down with the vines. Make sure she won't be able to escape." The body moved away from the huge guy and...KARI! Cleopatra grabbed her head. Her memories were zooming all over her mind. "NO!" She fell to the ground as pain shot through her head. It was then gone. She stood up, with a bewildered expression on her face. "She knows. Tirain, we must do this. IF we raise the dead, then Smoke and your descendant will be stuck in ancient Egypt till they die." She hurried over to a strange stand that had vases with heads on them. She grabbed all of them with her abilities and started spreading their contents into a circle around the army of the dead things.
(back to Smoke)
Her eyes started to focus. She could faintly hear a voice.
"Smoke? Hey, you there? COme on! Don't do this to me!" He slapped her face gently. Smoke sat up a bit, "Oh thank god!" Skyler hugged her, "I thought you were going to be that crazy grandmother of yours.""I know how to get down there." Smoke stood up and parted the water with her light and dark abilities. She saw the rock and walked to it. She gathered the dark particles from over a mile away from her and they formed a beam. Smoke imitated everythign that Cleopatra did. They ended up under the ground in a matter of seconds."Uh... this is creepy." Skyler had his hands on Smoke's shoulders as she whispered the fire spell and revealed the lair.

Using water drained most of my powers most likely because it is not my element to control.

I have enough strength to stand, run and do maybe 3 more attacks so don't worry. I smiled thinking after I use my powers all up I will probably faint of fall asleep oh well geuss I can't help it then.

I was pulled along and i tried to walk but my legs wouldnt work, my vision started getting hazy and soon i could barely see. Terra and Inferno had stopped running and i whispered "Where am I....." then i felt a funny feeling all over my body and then the hand around my wrist disappeared. I fell through the ground, drawn to Kari's fading power, then i noticed something distrubing...i couldnt see!!!!. Then like my body was acting on its own i could see through one eye, I came up in front of a horrible scene. Then i spotted Kari, she was tied up in some vines. "no problem" i said to myself. I grabbed Kari's ancle and said "Ssshhhh" while Cleopatra had her back turned. I burst the vines into flame and drug Kari under with me hugging her close. "Hey" i whispered into her ear, with one eye closed so it wouldnt scare her.

X gave an annoyed look, but he could feel Inferno's weary-ness. He walked up to her, and curled around Inferno's feet. X then pulled away and looked back and had a face that asked, 'ready to move on now?'

Kari jumped, it was all happening to fast. One moment, a whisper, the next she felt heat and was being dragged under. When she looked up, she saw Kurai?! KURAI! She wanted to hug her, but she was afraid to do any sudden movement, Tirain could strangle her with those vines with a flick of his finger. "H-Hello." Kari whispered, she was pretty sure Tirain could feel his vines burning...he would come any moment.
((X's part))
X nodded and ran, he climbed ontop of a hill and meowed, this was where Kari was last seen! She had to be here! X ran around in circles clearly frustrated.
