In the MSU sim, as an admin, I can, at any time, disable all scripts, collisions, and physics.

Which means, everyone's trapped in whatever spot they're in, until turn it all back on.

Computer games give the player the advantage of being able to control the games mechanics itself. Its sometimes useful.

I used to do with with Age of Empires.

Games that have console cheats are usually good there.

Give yourself max stats, any weapons, god mode, etc.

The console cheats in Morrowind made the game much more fun, IMO

I'm not one for cheats. One of the few times I did, on StarCraft BW, I used a dark archon with infinite energy and filled an entire third of the map with nothing but Carriers lol

I agree about the new shop. I'd call the admins retarded, but that'd be an insult to retards.

Yeah. Not only are the items ridiculously expensive, but they're ugly as crap (literally) too.

And how coincidental that shop appeared the same general time as the lotto, which almost completely relies on real life money to participate in.

I take the tweaking game mechanics beyond your measly little cheats.

I modify my games to suit my player style. Ironically it tends to make the game much, much, much, more difficult.

Nothing like making it so NPC's in Oblivion have all the same spells you'd have if you were the same level. OMG is that guy healing himself? Did he just summon a WTFPWN familiar? Did that drow just hit me with a sleeping poison?

Yes she did, and now I am dead because my character collapsed and is being cut to pieces by the drow marauders I added.

In S.T.A.L.K.E.R I added realistic ballistics, weapon degradation, bleed out, and stamina/exhaustion.

Ironically instead of making the game much, much more difficult. It made the difficulty insanely variable. A bad guy spraying and praying with an assault rifle wasn't a threat.

If the same guy stopped and raised the rifle to his shoulder and took a moment to aim. Well, even a full suit of kevlar armor doesn't save you from a bullet between the eyes.
