Af Mas I cut my toe. Ow. I'm feeling alright for the most part, otherwise. I got myself a new MP3 player today, a Sansa L'il Monsta. It's only 2GB, but basically does a lot of the same things an iPod can do. It has video, photos, FM radio tuner, voice recorder, and it can finally search for songs. My old one just didn't do much. So I'm happy with that. Otherwise, I'm just having doubts on things. I'm really confused right now about some certain things about myself, and wouldn't mind talking to someone right now Oiy, completely missed this post the other day. If you still need someone to talk to, feel free to pm me. I'll even jump on AIM if I see you on. Fog- Owe, hope your father does alright, and heals up quickly.

Kriss, thanks for your well wishing. He broke the two major bones in his leg, and my brother-in-law is with him at the hospital. Apparently, Dad had a mild seizure from (and this is the kicker) lack of alcohol. He might be going through withdrawal. I dunno. I can't say I'm incredibly worried about him, as I haven't seen how bad he is, but I dunno. I don't have a good relationship with my dad, and I guess my lack of feeling on the matter is a sign of it.
In any case, hope you all stay safe.

Ouch. Withdrawal seizures are in a way worse than seizures or just being drunk, because they cause damage to a system that's already so out of whack.
Makes sense though. Alcohol is a slowing poison - it slows down brain activity. So once a brain has built up tolerance to it, if you suddenly take away the alcohol, brain activity goes way higher than usual, and if there's just one crossed wire, a few errant sparks start to spread and repeat and you have a seizure in progress.
Still, if he's in care of people who care about him and can help him recover, he should be all right.

We've done all we can for him with his alcohol problems; trips to the doctors, AA meetings, lots of stuff. He refuses to listen, so I guess that's that. It's his problem, not ours. I hope he'll be all right.

No. Apparently i muted it or somone messed with it while i was sleeping.
Also, as a note, three days ago,my mom had surgery. She and I are going to go on our first walk since then. i'm excited. :3

It's still raining, sleeting, and basically being a bad mother of a day here. I hope I'm able to get out of the house tomorrow to the grocery store nearby.

Well, that's the shortest call I've ever had to a customer service department at a company.
I have 2 options with my phone, get them to upgrade the software on the phone to fix the faults of the present software, or give them the phone for 5 working days to test the faults I already know exist.

Well, first round university offers were released at 7:30PM (GMT+10) and by some miracle, I got an offer.
Ready for a shock?
I got into swinburne university, bachelor of engineering, robotics and mechatronics. My 2nd preferance, it's the one I wanted to do if I couldn't get into a double bachelor. So I'm happy with it. My friends have all seemed to get into something, so that's good as well.
So crenn is going to uni. God help that uni rofl .
EDIT: My parents have had fight where thing were thrown..... Not good.

Congrats on getting accepted to a university, Crenn. razz
Fog's not happy. At all. He couldn't go to his first day of college today, and with the weather as bad as it is, I don't know whether or not I'll be able to go for the next two days. That means if I can't get to college, I will be dropped from those classes. No ******** way did I spend a little over three hundred dollars this month to get textbooks for these classes only to miss them. *scowls*

Email your dean, Fog. Congrats, Crenn.
My lil' brother (who is 5" taller than me, lulz, but I can still throw him like a javelin) has been seriously ill for a while, and he finally dropped out of high school now that he's started to recover. He's taking the GED, and starting tomorrow with the first day of class, I'm bringing him to classes with me (not labs, though) so he'll get an idea of what college is like.
Plus, all the psych classes I'm taking should help him with the GED. And maybe he can help me with the GRE.

I'm guessing nobody is there...at the college, that is. If it's as bad all over as it is right here, I don't think anyone's stupid enough to go out. But I could be wrong. v.v

He dropped out?
Considering the fact that I *might* be failing a class or two this year, and if so, I will have to come back as a supersenior... If that happens, do you think it's worth it to drop out? Because I really don't feel like doing another year of high school. I'm sick of it as it is.

Just my two cents, but if you plan on going to college and getting a degree, it won't hurt you much to drop out and just get your GED. Fact is, jobs where you dont need a degree, dont care if you have a GED, and jobs where you have to have a degree don't care either. Heh heh. Far as learning goes, theres not too much in the last year of HS that doesnt get re-learned the first part of college anyway. BTW, congrats Crenn! Sounds like an interesting major.
