So, I've been playing Dragon Age. It's good, but doesn't grab me as significantly as Mass Effect and Fallout 3 did.

I get tired of hearing always great reviews from brand new games, honestly. it's a letdown when i play and realize they're mostly average.

Let's not forget that graphics make the games, not the gameplay.

I'd also like to clarify that it's not that I dislike Dragon Age: Origins, but I wouldn't place it in with my favorites (Fallout 3 and Mass Effect). I'm not sure what bothers me about it. It could be because I'm not as much into Fantasy as I used to, but that doesn't seem like much of a reason. The only thing that truly bugs me is the small text (I play the 360 version). I get a headache trying to read it, usually.

I miss the retro days, where all they had was fun gameplay to try to win you over with.
That, and you didn't have these idiots that would insult the world by daring to give a lowly score 8.8... Yes, I'm making THAT reference, just as a general point of why today's gaming world has too much BS in it.
