Keeping her blood from flowing near his mouth was becoming extremely difficult for Slate. SHe winced again as another twinge of pain flickered through her arm, and she placed her free hand beneath Benkei's jaw, applying pressure to the hinge joint and hissing, "Let go, Benkei. We're trying to help you here, but we can't if you don't stop this!"

Suddenly, Slate heard a muffled voice in her head. It was Benkei's, alright, but it seemed to be struggling a great deal.
Help... Me... Can't... Stop...

She closed her eyes, trying to focus her strenght enough so she wouldn't harm Benkei as she pressed the bones in his jaws enough to open his mouth, dislodging the fangs from her hand. Pulling her wounded hand against her, she tipped his ehad up so she could look him in the eye and said, "It's hard to control, I know. But you're a better person than I ever could have been; you can do it." She smiled at the others to let them know everything was fine.

Need... More...
He fled, running into some nearby woods. Some animal or traveler was going to be very unfortunate this night... Fledgling vampires need a great deal of blood during their first few hours of unlife...

"what the--" Slate looked back to find that Benkei was gone. "Oh s**t! Guys, we need tofind him before he kills someone! Any vampire who kills an innocent is immediately cast out and made a target for any other vampires to kill!" She jumped up and raced off, following Benkei's scent, which was easy for her, as he was her fledgling.

Luckily, Benkei found a small boar first. It took a few minutes, but he had drained it dry. He then ran off, trying to find another target, trying to keep away from his friends to keep them off the menu...

she stood infront of him, surounded by white/grey smoke. "Benkei stop!" her charm worked and a light green light trapped him in place. "Its okey, don't worry...." she said in a soothing voice.

He hissed at her like a wild animal and started slamming his weapon against the sides of this green light which surrounded him.

Benkei was still going at it. The voice was now clear in everyone's heads.

As a newborn vampire, his thirst for blood was far too powerful, and imprisonment was only intensifiying it. He began to claw at the ground, attempting to dig. He was consumed by his hunger... He NEEDED blood. He CRAVED it. He would go insane without it...

Slate leaped through the trees to find Fate and Benkei locked in this standoff of sorts. She approached Benkei, bracing her arms against him through the green glow to further hinder his attempts to escape.
"Fate, he can't listen to you. His mind will not process the words of anyone other than another Vampire." Fixing her gaze on Benkei, she said calmly, "Benkei. Listen to me now. You can control it; I'll help you. But you need to harness this hunger before it destroys you."
