Rissa ran behind the group, peering through the faint blue illumination of the passageway, eyes blinking rapidly due to the excessive amounts of dust. After a minute or so they reached the other end of the little corridor, white light replacing the blue. In the room stood Yuki, Akane and... a man standing ominously next to the crystal. She felt for her sais, violently cursed her forgetfullness and pulled out a couple of handily metal spanners instead.

Aqua ran along side Raiden and Zindre. 'I know I should know this, but what exactly does the crystal do?' she asked stupidly

Zindre stopped fast in his steps as his hand quietly slammed into the wall, opening the door. "The crystal is basically the balance of Develis. It's what keeps it afloat. If it gets tainted... We're all dead."

"I see, then I shall take my leave," he walked away and toward the top of the castle and to overlook the area.

Beatrix sighed and shook her head and landed on her bed face first. She sighed and turned around on her back and stared up at the ceiling..."This isn't good.."

"When he shows up...I'll clip his branches," he smiled as he held his hand out toward the city with a serious expression upon his face.(Changing the meaning of the picture lol)

Beatrix had shut her eyes for what seemed like a second, but yet she had had such a horrific dream...and that was saying something. She sat up screaming her head off and began throwing things from one end of the room to the other trying to get mostly her anger and fear out. "Stupid...son of a.....Ahhh!!!"

"You?!" Raiden stood there, dumbfounded to see the guard he'd seen earlier, "Who exactly are you?"
Yuki looked behind the guy at the others, "He's no one once I freeze him." the ground around him started to freeze and it crept up his leg. Yuki extended her arm, murder in her eyes. She went to freeze his blood, then stopped. Her eyes widened and the ice stopped creeping around and up his body. Her voice was just a whisper loud enough for her and him to hear, "Zach..?"

Akane's eyes cleared of her sleepiness as the others arrived and she took a few more steps toward the man next to the crystal. She looked from Raiden to the man to Yuki "Zach?"her face was confused, then she senced a creeping dark aura. Akane then looked back at Yuki, her eyes wide with anger and saddness "Yuki....you didnt..." she said, her palms were facing forward and small blue flames appeared in them.

Akane's flames caught Rissa's eyes, something had gone wrong if she was going to finish off the man and not Yuki. What is Yuki doing?! she thought desperately, sending charged energy into the tools in her hands, ready for something to go very wrong.

Aqu looked from the man to Yuki to Akane to Raiden. 'What's going on? What's Yuki doing?' she whispered to Raiden

Zindre stuck close to the hidden door, resisting the urge to attack the person he didn't recognize. He looked up at the crystal and gasped. The color in it changing to a dark red.

"Ooookaaayy, anyone got any ideas? Could probably get him with a spanner if my aim for throwing's good today." Rissa looked from Akane to Yuki, neither had moved. Indecision and, it had to be said, ignorance clouded her mind.
