jeѕѕ dashed off as soon as Uriel dismissed them, dragging her twin brother along with her. "C'mon, let's find somebody to sit with us," she marched through the crowds as if she was someone especially important, brown eyes scanning each and every face. She paused for a moment. "Ooh, that's the kid from Ollivander's, the one who called me a mudblood." There was a gleam in her eyes that her brother took notice of immediately.
тoвy clamped both hands down on his sister's skinny shoulders. "No. Hell will bloody freeze over before we sit with him," he muttered. He didn't exactly have warm fuzzy feelings for the guy who insulted his sister within a minute of meeting her, even if she had been messing with him.
"Aw, but it'll be fun!" Jess complained, struggling to get loose from her twin's iron grip. She pouted and folded her arms. "Then who are we supposed to talk to? I don't see that pink hair girl- Gypsy, I think, or her redheaded friend. And we don't know anyone else."
"For the love of- I don't know, we'll find someone. Just stand here and try to look like a normal person. I know that might be hard for you." he hissed, already in a bad mood, mostly because of his brother's lecturing like they were a pair of blooming five year olds.
"Oh, this coming from the boy who likes to set things on fire!" Jess shot back, worming out his grasp, and narrowing her eyes.
"That was an accident-
"Uh huh."
The two bickered like the children they were, making a lot more noise than they had any business making.

Storming through the party like my name was El Niño When I'm hangin' out drinking in the back of an El Camino As a kid, was a skid and no one knew me by name. I trashed my own house party ‘cause nobody came. Cause we like having fun at other peoples expense and, Cutting people down is just a minor offence then, It's none of your concern, I guess I'll never learn. I'm sick of being told to wait my turn. ”Was it that obvious?” A cheeky grin fluttered on his lips as dark chocolate eyes flashed between both girls as one declared them Gryffindors. If there was any animosity dripping from Yesenia’s words, and the more logical (though beaten into silence) part of his mind thought there was, he simply agreed to take no notice and move on. It was just easier that way, at least, it was in his mind. The girl who donned the Batman shirt, which, major points in his book, by the way, seemed far more friendly than the other girl. Was it bad he just wanted to poke—what was her name—Senia’s nose once or twice to see if she’d giggle or swat him down like a fly.
Damn… Now he really wanted to know. Shaking the thought away, Rowan approached. That grin widened as he flashed a hand above his head in welcome. ”Hey Rowan! It’s.. been a long summer, let’s just leave it at that, ya?
“And, yep, you were right, we are. Sorry, I guess I never did introduce myself, I’m Christian Barrett, but, everyone calls me Crash. This here’s Rowan, and, welcome to your first year, ya’ll.” His impeccable American accent fluxed as his voice seemed to crack, but only just barely! Stupid puberty…
Luckily, Ronna excused herself quickly enough to put up her trunk, he supposed he should do the same, but, decided he’d do it later. At least this way, he snatched up his board and was able to sit on his school trunk while he chatted. ”So ya’ll into quidditch?” Yeah, yeah, it was scripted, but hell, it was a good ice breaker! ”I was thinking of trying out this year, but I’m not too sure. They’ve been letting first years try out lately, too."

Crystal blue eyes rolled at the words of his Uncle and Cousin. Uncle Desmond seemed intent on smuggling a broom into Hogwarts for his son. Even though it was against school rules. And he would probably get an earful from Bradley's father. But most importantly Bradley knew his younger cousin had no interest in Flying, or in Quidditch, and no matter what, Xavier's father had a one-track mind with his son. He hoped December would not be put into the same situation. "Uncle, Des, First years are not allowed there own brooms." he said as he looked at the man with Bright red hair.
He burst onto the platform and looked around, finally seeing his friend, Annabeth, and his boyfriend, Tobi. Bradley blushed at that thought. He was still so easily embarrassed about calling Tobi his boyfriend. Calm down, Bradley, You're just nervous. No reason why though... he lectured himself, as he looked at the pair. Despite the events of the summer, Tobi seemed okay, was it what Bradley said that helped him? he did not know. But he liked to think it was.
The third year Ravenclaw looked at his cousin and Uncle. "I'm gonna go hang with Annabeth and Tobi, Uncle Des, could you watch my cart?" he asked as he looked at the man. Before dashing off.
Bradley noticed Tobi had snuck up behind Annabeth, so he did the same to him. Silently approaching he placed his finger to his lips, indicating Annabeth to make no sign of his plan. Before long he was right behind the shorter boy. And he threw his arms around Tobi's waist and set his head on his shoulder. "Now, we wouldn't be trying to scare poor Annabeth now, are we Tobi?" he asked affectionately.

The Mitchell Family walked through the wall onto Platform 9¾. Erica looked with wide eyes at all the people and hustle around her. This was worse than when the had gone to Diagon Alley to pick up her things for school. She was not sure how well she'd do in school with this many people. "Here we are" Emmett said with a large smile, his little girl was finally going to Hogwarts. He could see her now, maybe on the quidditch team, probably would make prefect at some point. He looked towards his wife, knowing they were thinking the same. AJ smiled simply as her husband looked at her, they must be thinking the same thing, their little girl was leaving them for almost an entire year, how on earth would they survive? They had Erica for nearly all of their marriage. Though AJ wouldn't let it show on her face for Erica's sake, she knew the girl was terrified enough already. AJ let go of Erica's hand and looked her in the eyes. "Alright so the train should be coming soon, your uniform is in the luggage, I also put some money in there to buy some sweets on the train, there is also a few snacks in there in case you want something more than the train. I think you're all ready." She said, trying hard to keep a smile on her face. Erica wrung her hands together and AJ noticed a tear start to form in her daughter's eye, she gasped slightly. "I don't want to go" Erica muttered, starting to cry. AJ reached out and hugged her daughter tightly not wanted to let her go. "You'll be okay sweetie, we'll see you at Christmas." AJ whispered, stroking her daughters hair. She released her just as quickly she had hugged her. She didn't want to leave the girl but they had to, she knew Erica needed to go and so did she, both Emmett and AJ had to be at work any moment now. "You gonna be alright?" Erica just nodded, wiping the tears from her eyes, AJ stepped away still looking at her daughter, keeping the tears from her eyes. Emmett crouched down and looked into his daughter's eyes "Eri, I love you so much, know that. You will be so great and you are going to have the time of your life. You are so brave and don't worry we will write you everyday." He hugged the girl close to her "I love you daddy" She whispered in his ear. "I love you too" He said with a large smile. The couple stood and grabbed hands, they wished they could stay until the train came but were already late as it was and with that Erica was left standing by herself waiting for that mysterious train.

Dhyl stepped onto the platform, lugging the cart with both his and Minn's things on it. The girl was sitting on his shoulders, giving the teen reason to slouch. The girl was holding both cats, even though Qube was more or less sitting on the boy's hair. Green eyes were wide with excitement, the girl feeling fancy for having her minion err... brother to escort her. Dhyl, on the other hand, had a frown on his face. That morning alone had been terrible. Not only did he spill hot oatmeal all down his favorite shirt, but he tripped on a baby toy and broke his glasses. Until he could get to Hogwarts to fix them, his contacts aided his vision. Even though he usually trusted his glasses to hide his eyes, he had an effective back up. Unkempt hair shielded his eyes, making him feel grungy. It didn't help that the term "rat's nest" was taken literally by the ball of fluff he called a cat. {OoC: Haha! Maybe someone could cheer up poor Dhyl! o3o}

"Music is easy and simple, you don't have to worry about things like betrayal." ♮ Yesenia looked at Veronica as she addressed her. She was probably right, it was probably their version of friendly, and she was being a huge jerk right now, which wasn't necessarily fair... As she was lost in her thoughts, she noticed Veronica disappeared, probably to put her trunk away. She decided she would do it in a bit. She turned back to the pair again. "Pleased to meet you Crash, Rowan, thanks," she said, a bit more naturally, it wasn't like Veronica's friendliness, but it was better than before. "Sorry, I shouldn't have treated you both so harshly," she said, attempting to apologize, though it sounded like it was worded oddly to her ears. "Not really, I never heard of it before my sister went to Hogwarts," she replied, talking more naturally now. "I'm a muggleborn, that's why I don't really know much about Quidditch," she explained. ♯ "But in life, your best friends can end up as your worst enemies."

Frida and Olan walked along the platform, having already seen their oldest off to school and now with a brood to take along this year. Frida looked back at them all. It was such an odd assortment of people to be sure. Then again, the family did have several new additions. She smiled at them and, as they reached the train, turned to face them fully. "Now I trust all of you will have a good school year. We'll see you during Christmas break." She then impulsively hugged each of them tightly and then backed away. They had both agreed that, at least for now, they shouldn't speak in their native tongue around the house until the others learned it. Luke and Magni were no issue, since they grew up speaking it, but Steffi, Cain, Aubrey, and Jeremy were all raised in an English environment, and even though two knew German, they didn't speak speak the Borson's family language. At least not yet. Hopefully they would learn.
Olan of course looked on with a neutral expression as he observed the group of students. He was happy that Frida was excited about having more kids, but the more practical side of him had winced when he realized that there were now five teenagers in the house. Four had just entered their teenage years, in fact, and two were girls. It was probably a good thing that Frida knew more about girls than he did, since that was definitely a mystery to him still. He gave each of them a nod as Frida finished hugging them all and decided to address them as well. "No trouble. I know I have this same conversation with Luke every year, but that also applies to you as well. Whether you carry the family name or not, you are now part of the family. I trust that I shall not hear any bad reports from the headmaster or your heads of houses. Have a good year."

Gypsy's eyes were wide as she travelled through the seemingly solid barrier between Platforms 9 and 10 to get to 9 & 3/4. They, and her hair, flashed teal, her excitement mounting as she looked over all the other students already milling about, looking for friends and companions and others to sit with. She bounced on the balls of her feet, glancing around. She couldn't see Leah's bright red hair anywhere just yet, but she did spot a rather familiar set of twins. She sauntered over the Jess and Toby, her eyes bright. "Hey there! Isn't this exciting?" Her voice was bubbly, her excitement intoxicating. She had heard the two bickering on her way over to them, and supposed it was normal for twins to act that way. She and Echo never seemed to be able to get along, and they weren't the same age. Only a year apart, but still. She glanced around. This was so very, very exciting!

jeѕѕ shut up upon being greeted by Gyspy, and her expression easily morphed into a grin. "You're green today. It's more than exciting, it's-" she struggled to find the right word to describe her feelings. "Stupendous," she settled on. "I can't wait for the train, and the boat ride, and the Sorting Hat, and the feast! Oh and just Hogwarts itself!" she gushed, looking nearly dreamy. She'd been waiting for her first year for what seemed like eons. Uriel's letters home, full of lovely references to things, had only encouraged her longing.
тoвy offered his usual twisted, almost teasing smile. "There's so many opportunities for pranks, and adventures, and Merlin knows what else. But I'm going to explore every single nook and cranny of the place." Hogwarts was going to be his new home, and he intended to make his mark on it. Now if only his mum had let him bring those fireworks....

Hayden burst through the solid wall without a peep, landing smoothly on the platform full of people. She hesitated for a moment, stalling so she could steal a glance at the students around her, eager to scout out her competition for the next year. Finding no one who's presence intimidated her, she let out a quiet, but lingering sigh, then continued onward. The petite blonde was followed briskly by a pair of proud parents, both with faces that could have easily been artistic sculptures carved of stone. With a loud rattle, a mature-looking house elf dressed in a tiny black tuxedo trailed behind them, the large trolley he pushed nearly blocking his view. In Hayden's possession were several designer suitcases, atop which a small kitten with fur the color of her own hair was sprawled across, snoring lightly through the day's excitement.
A calm wind ruffled her golden locks as she came to a halt off to the side of the buzzing scene of children and families. Her parents, both with eyes of brilliant blue and light-colored hair, stopped shortly in front of her. Before they could speak, the elf wheeled the trolley cart neatly next to the three of them before giving a quick nod and disappearing back into the crowd.
As the first year's parents gave her the same lecture she had already heard three times this week, Hayden dazed off into the distance, trying to imagine what the castle would look like when she arrived. After nodding her head several times and receiving an abundance of kisses, she convinced her parents to depart so she could wait and board the train alone. After all, children as mature as her didn't require such a close watch as many of the others that Hayden could easily point out in the sea of lively students.

"Music is easy and simple, you don't have to worry about things like betrayal." ♮ Yesenia looked over and was relieved to see her sister hurrying towards her. "Yeah, everything's fine, sis," she said, smiling for once. She relaxed considerably, her sub-conscious tension easing. Football on broomsticks... Well, that certainly put it into perspective... kinda. She hardly watched football either, but like Veronica, she had never flown on one before. She had no intentions of trying out, trying a broomstick? Sure. Quidditch? Hmm.... Probably not. ♯ "But in life, your best friends can end up as your worst enemies."
