vasily woke with a start several hours later. mumbling in russian he stood up and yawned loudly his eyes falling on nights bed, that she wasnt in. he stopped and stared at the empty bed before searching the room. and of course he couldnt find her. he startyed to pace back and forth thinking about what he could remember about last night hoping something bad didnt happen.

Night came into the room, her hair clean and combed but at the same time she looked worried.
"Don't panic. I don't think we can go safely downstairs because of what I saw. Some dark skinned warriors, looking for someone. It might not be us, but I won't take the chance"
She took her belt from under the bed and put it on. Then she opened the window. Voices were coming upstairs, loud speak in foreign language.
"We need to jump"

he looked at her not sure what she was saying at first be fore he took a mighty running leap, and found himself on the ground soporting a rathr nice bump. he looked up waiting for night. "come on" he shouted up to her.

Night climbed up on the window and floated down like a feather.
She took Vasilys hand and started pulling him away from the inn.
Some angry shouts came from their room but she didn't look back.
Finally when they had reached an empty alley, she stopped.
"I think we lost them now..."

vasily looked at her for a moment then broke out laughhing and smiling.
"i know it wont be my last but, my first angry mob" he said this smiling and laughing until he noticed nights face then he quickly stopped "sorry" he mutterd before sitting down on a nearby trash can. "so....uhhh....what now?" he asked a little unsure of himself.

"Velandershak. She needs to be taken out of the city"
She walked to the end of the alley and looked to both directions.
When she saw nothing she gestured Vasily to follow.
They were walking along the city wall in a narrow alleyway that the wall and a couple of lined buildings formed.
"When the demon wakes up, we need to ask her a couple of questions.
Wich reminds me: You need to learn to Blink"

"blink?" he asked her not sure if he was hearing her right. as he walked behind her avoiding a large pile of something that moved slightly, and oozed.

"You may call it sudden disappearing. I call it blink, because of the method I use to do it. Listen closely: Human has to blink several times, and even more when he's moving. What I do to them is really simple, I predict the time when he is going to blink and blink my eyes the same time. he thought about it for a moment before deciding it made some sense.
"so if i want to stop magic i just dont blink" he said smiling he opend his eyes wide and put his face in front of her looking rather like a fish. it made her laugh slightly before she pushed him away. "sooo can you show me how to do it?" he asked nervously

"I can spar against you until you learn it" she said, smiling widely.
"The rest is up to your own instinct"
They had reached the gate. It had some of those dark skinned soldiers guarding it, the men had hair as white as snow.
Night stopped to wait in the shadows of the alley.
"Any ideas on how to get past them?"

"well we can always shoot them" he said sounding hopeful until night looked at him darkly. "ok ok fine i guess this is you way of making me try the "blink"" he sighed a little. "you first" he mumbled wanting to wacth how she did it.

She walked towards them in a relaxed manner. They turned to look at her and at the same moment she disappeared behind them.
They all shouted at the same time and looked somehow stupidly around
trying to see her. They blabbered in a different language. Luckily, it didn't occur to them to turn around O_^

(lol) vasily smiled as he watched the guards act stupid and mutter in their weird language. he took a deep breath and walked up to them trying to focus his mind he waited until they blinked and he disapperead. he reappeared about 20 feet behind night upside down and about 3 feet off the ground....he fell "ow" he mutterd darkly picking himself up and stumbling over to night holding his neck. "im not sure if i like that too much." he said smiling slyly at her.

Pulling him again, Night ran into a nearby forest. Some men had heard Vasilys loud landing and they were coming after them.

vasily was yanked off his feet as night pulled him into a thick forest. he could faintly hear the sounds of people running after them. he pulled her hand off him and started to run alongside her, pulling ahead slightly. "may i ask" he shouted while running "why they are chasing us, what did we do?" he asked slightly confused. and dodging a very large rock in his way.
