I saw something weird once.
The strategy guide for Shadow Watch at one site was $60. The game itself is about $20.

What's dumb is that there's even a guide for it at all.
Even the campaign is random. You can't have a strategy preset for random levels. It doesn't work.
So the fact that it even has a guide should only make it be like $5, even less than a typical $10 one.
Also, consider that Shadow Watch is about 10 years old now. It's definitely not worth that price.

I could go to the local used dollar book store if you want?
Maybe they'll have it.

I don't need a guide for it. I mastered the game the 1st time I played it through. It's a turn-based strategy game built around a Covert Ops team doing various missions in close quarters.
There's this little trick of making the enemies run into your death traps, which is insanely funny.
Example:
Nobody but Maya ( Sniper ) for the party, max enemies.
I have her kneel down by the entrance door, open it, then close it after she's in view of an enemy. The enemy sees her and the alarm sounds during the enemy's turn. I have her cover, raising her rifle to shoot down any enemy that comes in her view during their turn.
An enemy runs up and opens the door. She opens fire. They go down. She closes the door and covers again. Another enemy runs to the door and opens it. She opens fire. They go down. She closes the door and covers again.
That goes on about 10 times. I only had to leave the entrance because 2 of them decided to run and hide instead of charging the door.

It's fun, but not something you'd invest a ton of time in at once.
I had it before I got my last computer, which I've had for 6 years, and only replaced because it wasn't capable of running newer stuff good enough. It was still fine, in working condition, just obsolete.
What sucked with it was it was XP, which meant all the games I had on Windows 95/98 wouldn't run on it, like Shadow Watch, and Total Annihilation.
Shadow Watch works on this one, which is also XP, but a different version of it. I only tried to install it just to see, and when it actually worked, I was amazed.

Well, I've now completed Title Defense mode in Punchout!! and got lucky in Mac's Last Stand. My 1st opponent was Glass Joe, and the 2nd was Donkey Kong, so I unlocked him for Exhibition mode pretty early on.
