Johnny Malone Cale Darksun Yep. Bargle summoned him and tried to get him to kill the heroes, but since he's an advanced Bone Devil and beyond the capability of Bargle's level, he simply promised not to fight the heroes as long as they let him have the wizard's soul. Oh, and in Pathfinder, Asmodeus is a god. And they have some nifty classes like Oracle, Witch, Inquisitor, and Cavalier. It was entertaining. Cavalier and Inquisitor sound like my type of classes. Yep. Inquisitor is some kind of witch hunter style class, mixing paladin and Ranger to create a holy hunter of sorts, and cavalier is basically a fighter with a mount. Now I'm in the process of scheming up an awesome Minotaur themed dungeon. Got a basic map and Idea, now I just need to fine tune it. Problem is, Ral might not be around when I run it, and this s**t's right up his alley. His favored enemy is monstrous humanoids and his favored terrain is dungeons.

Sounds like a Warhammer 40k Inquisitor...
What is the Oracle class like?

Basically you play a person gifted with prophesy. Here's the intro text and their role: Quote: Although the gods work through many agents, perhaps none is more mysterious than the oracle. These divine vessels are granted power without their choice, selected by providence to wield powers that even they do not fully understand. Unlike a cleric, who draws his magic through devotion to a deity, oracles garner strength and power from many sources, namely those patron deities that support their ideals. Instead of worshiping a single source, oracles tend to venerate all of the gods that share their beliefs. While some see the powers of the oracle as a gift, others view them as a curse, changing the life of the chosen in unforeseen ways. Role: Oracles do not usually associate with any one church or temple, instead preferring to strike out on their own, or with a small group of like-minded individuals. Oracles typically use their spells and revelations to further their understanding of their mystery, be it through fighting mighty battles or tending to the poor and sick.

I would definitely play both of those classes. Maybe I'll end up back and Nebraska and we can all resume playing together.

Pathfinder is fun. They did a revamp of 3.5 rules with things such as domain and magic school powers and new crafting rules that let Nonspellcasters create magic items, with magic items no longer costing XP.

I'm looking at their website right now. Paizo has always been a good company. Also like that they have a free DnD conversion thing on their website so you can use all your old books.

They did me right by Dungeon and Dragon Magazine. While I'm hesitant to buy any of their products since I'm unsure of my financial stability, they've produced quality work: Crunch and fluff in equal tasty proportions with good rules and excellent illustrations. Hell, they've got a Deity in their campaign setting that, on a drunken dare, undertook a series of lethal trials to become a god. On the third day of his trials he ascended mortality and to this day his ascension is celebrated, though the actual date has long been forgotten by the god as he was sauced out of his mind at the time.

That's awesome! Well from everything I'm reading on the website as well as reviews of the game this sounds like what 4 ed. should have been.

Yep. The Escapist interview with the 4e people is kinda sad as they've yet to impress me to return to 4e.

Cale Darksun Yep. The Escapist interview with the 4e people is kinda sad as they've yet to impress me to return to 4e. I liked some of their ideas and classes like the Warlord but it was lacking a certain amount of depth compared to 3.5, looks like Pathfinder has that depth.
