The local population made up of former separatists, retired mercenaries, and mandalorians reacted as you'd expect to the intrusion of the imperial army into their homes.

An Imperial Army Company supported by 4x AT-ST walkers (One of which was a command mech) was moving in on the house of a neimodian known to the locals simply as "the captain" and Nelo steps out before them and does something almost completely unbelievable.

He nearly talks the imperials out of the raid! Even with the -10 penalty for persuading a hostile he was talking to the commanding officer and demanding to talk to their superiors.

Then a mandalorian armsuit showed up, blew up a command mech (along with the other 3 AT-STs) and destroyed his attempt at diplomacy.

He wiped out an entire imperial army company with his pistol, save the lieutenant in charge (executive officer of unit since the CO was cooked by the Mando mech). Whom he talked down after rolling criticals twice on him (he gave him facial scars both times... wierd luck.)

Then the mandos got serious. The imperials activated the garrison shield which enclosed the starport and began sortieing in earnest.

Faced with the crisis the mandos gave nelo and the gmpc an arm suit and told them to try and capture the garrison's fire control center and turn the garrison's defenses on the imperials themselves.

On the way they were engaged by a trio of AT-AT walkers, then by a flight of Lancet Aerial Artillery units, and then by an AT-SA. Plus 3 XX-9 Turbolaser batteries.

And they killed em all! One of the turbolaser batteries got a crit, but on a pilot check to evade Nelo did as well! (So I said it hit just the shields of the mech which collapsed)

Then they went into the bowels of the base. Nelo managed to intimidate two companies of Imperial Army into running away. Then the Imps dug out an old SD-6 War Droid and hurled it at the arm suits.

That worked, sort of... the GMPC's mech got blown to bits, but Nelo emerged without a scratch. Then they got to the fire control center, where nelo blasted the officer trying to rally a company of imperial army soldiers to defend the post and set them running. Then one shotted an Emperor's hand that came in to investigate (He survived but was knocked out, he'll return) and killed a Noghri (An assistant of the hand) who managed to sneak up and open the arm suit's cockpit before Nelo noticed the grey bugger.

Then the GMPC turned the guns against the imps and found out there was an ISD in orbit. We used the 4 LNR-Is that was part of the base's defenses to nuke it...

The imps scattered, the Mandos carried the day, at least for the next fifteen minutes until the Imperial Sector Fleet responded and setup a blockade.

Where we stopped the heroes and mandos were meeting in the town cantina to figure out what to do next, and Nelo knocked out a Mando in a sparring match.
