"Have Lairon pick up Jack and use him as a Shield!" Maia whispered, using the Sneasel's screeching to mask her words. "Lairon's a Steel type, so its regular defense must be great!"
As for Jack, the Wynaut would continue burping those pink hearts at Sneasel, aiming to get its attack to the lowest point it could before the attention were to switch to it!

"So, with that in mind, and left to my own devices...well, I pretty much went legit. I had a new identity, for the most part. And it wasn't like I could be a underling in the bunch for that matter. During the whole ordeal against Blizzard, Blizzard exposed every last one of us, making the world know that we at the very least exist and had dealings with not the right people, and furthermore would of had rangers breathing down my neck. So...I went to earn the honest dollar, but with everyone else fearing hybrids and all that good stuff, it wasn't like I could be a waitress or anything of that sort. I was a hybrid, why not make the most of it, if I could. Took up bounty hunting. That...was harder than I realized at the time. In cashing in on a bounty, there was a fine line between a legit bag or vigilantism. It wasn't sustaining a living. For that matter, actually developing hybrid skills were...harder than I realized too. It was with everything against me where I ended up doing what one would probably think was the unthinkable."
"I went to Mahogany and found Blizzard. Blizzard wasn't really willing to forgive easily, and probably just as well considering. I was asking for anything that he could do to help me. I could tell easily he wanted to say 'No' badly. Very badly. Pryce was there with him and it took a few silent glances between each other where instead of saying 'No' to me, he handed me the broom he had been cleaning with when I caught him that late afternoon outside the gym, said 'Community Service', and walked off. Just like that. Really I came to figure out he did that just to see if I would do it and how well...and I did and I met expectations. I had no where else to go, so why not. It took about at least a year or so, though, before Blizzard and I...well...started to have feelings for each other and well. The rest is history."

"I figure Blizzard as a cold person, observant and calculating. A little pessimistic at times, but mostly cold." Sol quipped.
Ceramew just gave him an odd look, as if silently saying he was being smart.

"And that's when the two of you rode off into the sunset together, riding on a Rapidash and embracing each other passionately. Bravo! Excellent story! Two thumbs up!" Sub said with a clap. "But no, in all seriousness, it sounds like you've had a hard life too, Freth."

That he wasn't always the cool customer he wants you to think he is today." RC says with a smirk.

"They're right." Lykas agreed. "Blizzard always seemed like the type to be a cold-hearted hardass in the past." He admitted. "Your story might've been about you but it shows Blizz has a half-melted heart in that icy shell he likes to show people." He explained with a small grin.
"Kinda gives me a little hope for my future...." He noted rather quietly.

"Eh, I don't really think too much of it anymore. It just kind of gets me thinking a little every time someone brings up about some off-kilter past of some sort; just makes me think back a bit. Usually I wouldn't...I guess that's just one of those quirks I got from Blizzard because dear God, he laments on things on things constantly. Funny enough, Blizzard doesn't find it as a 'quirk'. He calls it a learning experience...which I guess it is. Maybe." she rubbed the back of her head.

"Hm. I'll admit he's learning, at the very least. Apart from that, it sounds accurate." Sol commented.
"Not even I've been that bad with lamenting on things..."
"Speaking of lamentations, where did Amaranth run off to?"
"Huh...? I thought she... I'll look." She took off at once, if only to appease curiosity. There wasn't much to worry about.

Blizzard120 "Well, that's my brief story." She said, leaning back in the chair a bit. "So...anyone else?" Lykas hung his head as he thought. Did he really feel like sharing what little story he had? He'd never really told anyone about it before. Odd had generally guessed after the last time they'd gone to Sootopolis City and he'd refused to go back to Hoenn since then. The more he thought about it, the more it seemed like he wanted to get something off his chest.
