I am so sorry for your loss. crying crying crying This is what was referred to as "initial overkill", when a new egg got so many views that it just couldn't take it.... crying crying crying It occasionally happens.
Dragon Parenting is really stressful, especially in the early stages, when we have to decide wheither or not to let others view/click on the new eggs. I have learned from experience that even clicking on your own recently caught egg can make them sick exclaim

Info update: Wednesday, June 4, at 10:50 pm ET * GOOD NEWS * Cynatra's eggs hatched and now she has two healthy dragonets. wahmbulance HELP NEEDED! wahmbulance justkittykat's has only 1.9 days left to mature into an adult and her has only 2.8 days left to hatch and has no cracks! Devil_Tony_33's has only 2.4 days left to hatch! Cynatra's has only 2.6 days left to hatch and has no cracks! bd004's has only 2.8 days left to mature into an adult! sleepypandie's has only 2.9 days left to mature into an adult! Babies afflicted with S3 (Soft Shell or Sick) disease. bd004's white egg has hatched but is still sick. sad RIP, babies. cry We lost our first two babies this month. Check the "In Memoriam" (third) post on the next page.
