She gave a soft laugh and shook her head at him “ Well, unless your coming to my place to heal up it needs to be. I have the witches on their way to ward my place now. We might have some…horde visitors.” she said wondering exactly how much detail she wanted to give him as she continued washing across his chest, down his sides, arm, and shoulders. “ I had one that I was going to bring back so you could ask questions about Scarlett, but after I got into the argument with Sonja she got pissed and broke his neck then wouldn’t bring him back with us…He’ll be looking for me. He’s harmless to me though, poor things in love with me” She said as she rinsed out the rag and rinsed the soap from his skin before cringing at the dirty water.

Scarlett laughed softly as he buried his face in her chest and she stroked his hair. He wore her mark now, the amount of blood disturbed her, surely she hadn’t been that harsh…had she? She reached for the portable phone for the room and made the call for their breakfast, then curled back up stroking his hair again softly “ tis done love, it’ll be here in a bit.” She said on a soft sigh as she took the moment to inspect the bite and claw marks . “I’m sorry love, seems I was a bit too rough with ye. “

She stated as she ran her fingers softly along the bite mark on neck. How was she going to explain this? She’d marked him with out even letting him know what was going on, which in her opinion was low, but she’d known it was going to happen sooner or later

Clara frowned down at his hand when he stopped her and she looked at him “ We did…two of them, well we didn’t make it inside the second one. We got attacked by six horde vampires. We made a mess of main street I’m afraid, Sonja was shot twice I think…I got grazed, elbowed in the face, but I took those two down, but the third one got me from behind trying to restrain me and since I can’t really use the martial arts stuff without endangering the baby I used my voice and enchanted him. So he’s not really in love with me…he just thinks he is. He’ll be my puppet until he dies, which probably won’t be all that long really. “ She transferred the rag to her other hand and began working to wash the rest of the blood from him.

Kade listened amused for a moment then his expression turned dark. "I see." He said smiling a bit. "Not long no." He said darkly. "I'll get what I need from him then we'll be done with him. He won't be around long." He brushed his fingers over her bruise his expression tortured. "Leanen. . . Does it hurt?" He asked her. Poor Daven was probably having kittens if she wasn't healed when he got back.

Clara nodded “ I assumed such. He’s rather clingy anyways, but he did take care of the mess and get us out of sight before the police arrested us.” She said with a shrug then wrinkled her nose when he touched the bruise “ You don’t prioritize well do you? I have a bruise, and you’re missing an arm…” She said looking at him and then where his arm used to be. Ugh she had to in some way bandage that so she didn’t have to look at it. “ I’ll be fine, just sore that’s all. Lets finish getting you cleaned up.” She said reaching for the same cup he’d used to wash her hair. She insisted on fresh water though and pulled the drain as she washed his hair, then rinsed him off with clean water so there was no red tinted residue left. “ You want to soak a while in some clean water or you want to get dressed?” She asked.

Kade frowned. "I wasn't patronizing you." He said expression a little hurt. "I'm genuinely concerned about you and really pissed off that Sonja didn't take better care of you. And he's not touching you." He frowned softly. "Only I can do that unless you're falling off a cliff and I can't catch you for whatever reason then someone can catch you. Damn I'm rambling." He mumbled at the end feeling himself get all worked up. He shook his head. "If he comes by here I'm afraid I may have to maim him to stop him for clinging to you." He admitted.

She sighed softly “ Sonja took the brunt of the punishment, trust me, she was bleeding like a stuck pig. As for the vampire, I’ve dealt with hundreds of enchanted humans and loreans, he’ll be no issue although he’ll be eager to face off with you. He’ll be thinking I’m his bride, and won’t be able to figure out why his heart isn’t beating yet. It’s not the first time this has happened Kade, but experience has taught me well that unless I allow him to touch me, then he won’t. If I say no he’ll get frustrated and angry but he’ll obey. More or less those who are enchanted follow around like puppies, they’re harmless really” She said as she turned and reached for a towel and dried his hair before offering a hand to get him out of the tub. “ I’ll go and get you something to wear and some bandages while you dry off.” She said.

Kade frowned and dried himself best he could with one arm the skin already healing and starting to form his arm again. He'd have his arm back in a week. "Daven must be having a litter if he's home by now." He chuckled darkly. "But I don't like this following around like puppies business." He growled. "I don't want anyone but you seeing what I have gotten for you. I want you safe and the last thing I need is Horde raining on our parade." He was still not happy with her new pet. He did not like this at all.

When he was busy drying himself she headed up to his room returning with some jogging pants and a tee shirt, nothing fancy for him. She then helped to finish drying him “ Probably, she really has to figure out the whole tracing thing. How she manages to be a mercenary and night die with that sort of issue I will never ever know. “ She said helping him dress as he talked “ Well dear it’s something your just going to have to deal with, I’m a sirenae, I can enchant any man into thinking I’m his ‘fated.’ Now as for him, he’s laying in a hotel room with a broken neck. You might want to send some one to pick him up before he can wake up. Plus if you’ve got some one to do any investigating you could check all the hotels to look for anyone checked in with either Scarlett’s name or Adrien’s. It appears Sonja didn’t do a complete check. The rest of the horde are dead, so I don’t know if they’ll come after us or not, but I doubt it so there won’t be any reason for them to rain on our parade per say. Of course, I’m not even sure what you are talking about.” She said as she moved up to the kitchen to see what he had to cook.

Kade sighed and nodded pulling on the clothes then went to the phone. "Ben? Yeah it's Kade. . .No. No don't come over I want you to take a group to Vegas and search every hotel there. Yeah and also if you find a Horde passed out in one of the rooms, bring him back for interrogation okay? Yeah cool bye." He hung up and walked up to Clara. "Not the right time for that particular parade anymore." He said sighing a bit. "Maybe a little later. When we're both in a good mood."

Ishtar Hunter
"It's not what it seems."

Ishtar nodded. "She just has to look at you and she inflicts any kind of pain she wants. Even I'm not immune." He sighed softly and hugged her from behind. "I'm hoping to never let you near that woman." He rumbled in her ear. "I don't wish you to be in any kind of pain." He sighed softly and stroked her hair inhaling her scent. "You take a nice warm bath while I get you that banana. Hm?" He purred giving her one last tender hug then nudged her to the full bath tub.

"There is Truth in the madness"

Sonja gritted her teeth against the pain hissing out breaths. It never used to hurt this much. "Yeah wee bit is an total understatement!" She hissed out clinging to him and crying out in pain muttering a word over and over. She hoped he didn't know french or he'd know she had a very dirty mouth. She whined a bit and sunk her fangs into the meaty part of his shoulder instead trying hard not to give off any pained sounds that would set off his beast into a frenzy. Once the bullet was out she took deep breaths. "We went to Vegas to do stuff and have fun and saw some Horde. Don't worry, they're dead now, they were stalking us see, I don't know why. Well. . . one isn't we've captured him for questioning about Kade's cousin and her man friend." she breathed through the pain and licked the wound she made on his shoulder encouraging it to clot. "Sorry. . ." She said. "I. . . I think I bit too hard." She clung to him and trembled a bit.

Clara was looking through the fridge and the freezer debating on what to cook. She poked at a few things then began pulling items and setting them on the counter. She’d fix something high in protein. He’d be needing it…yea he had an entire arm to regenerate. Glancing over her shoulder at him she tilted her head “ If you say so. Anyways, I’ll cook if you want to go rest” She said.

Scarlett yawned and dozed in and out stroking Adrien’s hair in the moments she had some consciousness. She was content, satisfied, and secure for the time being. Her mate was entangled in bed sheets with her and she couldn’t ask for anything more. Her daze was interrupted by a knock at the door and judging by the volume she’d slept through the first knock. With a sigh she disentangled herself from Adrien “ Just a minute” She called as she picked up her robe and pulled it on securing the belt around her waist to keep her form covered. Her hair was in a disarrayed tumble that eluded to exactly what had gone on and what was going on with in the room.

Padding to the door she reached for the door handle with one hand and wiped sleep from her eyes with the other. She opened the door expecting the usual hotel staff, and blinked as the scent of Lykae hit her full force and she looked up to the entirely to large Lykae male who stood in the door way with a cart that looked tiny in comparison to his size. She jumped Oooch!? Tha hell are ye doin? She said in alarm. Her beast was irritated, rising despite it being sated moments before, now it perceived a threat. “ I received orders from NOLA to track you down and retrieve you general. Your family pulled out all the stops when you were kidnapped.” the large male responded and she arched a brow. Ugh she’d been afraid of that. She crossed her arms over her chest as the male began to push the cart inside then froze sighting the form in the bed.

She growled and pulled the cart from his grasp. Her eyes glowed blue and the male turned his attention to her, his nostrils flaring. “ ye can tell them I’ll be returning to NOLA shortly, when my affairs are settled here.” She stated only to have the male lift his hands as if in surrender “ My orders are not to leave with out you, I’m not supposed to let you out of my sight” He responded and she let go of the cart as it rolled further into the room.
