my hubby's great grandma is german. but we don't do any of the traditions, really... And I hardly know a word of german.
There's Schweinhund... pigdog. lol
I learned indonesian at school. I wasn't very good at it though sweatdrop hubby aced it, it was his best subject.

Yep, we havn't done tenses yet, but he says they will be painful. We actually, he said they'd be easy. Then after a few seconds silence, he laughed and said, "No, they're quite hard."
