I'd have to agree. Joss has put out some pretty terrible crap at times. Then again, Michael Bay managed to make Transformers 1, showing that there is hope for decent movies sometimes even from the worst of the lot.

But he's also done amazing stuff like Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Firefly Serenity,, most of Buffy and Angel, his awesome Astonishing X-Men arc. Everyone has off days but I have faith that THe Avengers will be good.

Frontier was a weird flash game.

Nothing beats a pirate ship with wheels and attacking enemies in JRPG fashion by swinging swords at each other halfway across the screen.
