Louie - Desert, and went the long away instead of the volcano.

I lost my other crew member so I ended up in the last stretch alone.

However, I had 103 ammo left, when I started with 200. That's also taking into account ammo obtained and lost through events. Not bad, IMO. If that was Carl with an otherwise identical playthrough, I'd have nailed the toughest one.

The thing is, Carl's all that's left, and he's got the crappiest starting loot, which means I really gotta be playing perfectionist.

Luckily, playing perfectionist means no elk anyways, since the extra 3rd shot doesn't grant enough food to maximize the food per bullet ratio.

I'm about to start this horrid journey, since I've got nothing else to do for a while. Wish me luck.

I did it.

I killed off 2 of my crew as soon as possible, and took both shortcuts because I knew I wouldn't have the ammo for taking the longer routes. Despite only starting with 150 ammo and only gaining like 20 while losing a total of maybe 40, I managed to have about 20 left at the end.

However, I used it all up to max out my food so I could get as many points as I could. It's a good thing I only killed 2 of my crew, because the other 2 died in random events. 1 to the moth, and the other turned out to be a cannibal. So, I ended the game as a sole survivor.

At least it's done now. I got all 5 medals.

Hmm... If I got myself the items for an Imperial officer uniform, I could look like a decorated officer.

The only problem with the idea is, if I'm in the uniform of a decorated Grand Admiral, I won't be scantily-clad.

What ship did you use?

I use the Kestrel. I get the idea that the time it takes you impacts the rate at which your health goes down. So, the faster you go, the less health you lose over the same distance.

I don't need more than 500 cargo space anyways, thanks to taking advantage of maximizing hunting.

If you go with Carl, take both shortcuts. Even maximizing hunting, you won't have the ammo to last the long way. I had 20-ish shots left.

I was thinking about my trip to comic con this year, and my lack of a costume/funds for one :/ So I decided to be a bit unique. I'm going to be simple and create a Stormtrooper Drill Instructor dress uniform.
