"You can call me Night," Night said, giving the boy a small nod in greeting before moving towards Jude and attempting to wrestle Loki from within the boy's tail, "Get out of there you troublesome cat...."




"Man-made pokemon?" Eve asked, once again looking to Ship for an explanation, "I didn't even know it was possible for someone to make a pokemon."

"Whoa. Careful you don't hurt it," Jude said, and curled his tail out for Night. "Your Skitty, I mean."

"Yes, that's better," Ship said. "And yes, Eve. Our understanding of technology has gotten to the point that scientists can, apparently, craft an Artificial Intelligence and use chi in the same way Pokemon can. I am guessing that is the standard to be considered as Pokemon?"

"Got me," Night said with a shrug, "You'd have to ask V about that. He's the one with all the info concerning that. And it's more of a nickname, really. Due to the dark color of my fur and all."

She continued wrestling about with the Skitty, who clearly didn't want to release Jude's tail anytime soon, "Oh, you don't have to worry about him. He's tougher than you'd think. Dammit, let go!"



"That's actually just a little scary," Eve admitted, "Being able to actually create a pokemon using little more than computer technology. Makes me kind of wonder what else humans can do with that sort of thing."

Jude peered back when he heard someone mention 'cute new furry.' He was...a little concerned, and mostly for Nick's sake. He nudged Nick with a shoulder and pointed him at Lykas. "It looks like someone's taking a gander at your territory," he said.

All of a sudden, Night would be covered in happy licks from the small Pokémon. It wasn't until the Growlithe got off him that Night remember that he'd met this Pokémon before. "Now I remember," Night said, sitting up. "You're the Growlithe from my starter mission. What, did you follow me here?" The Growlithe nodded, barking happily. That was when Night noticed Terashi nearby. His eyes grew wide when he seemed to be giving him Lairon. "I can really have him?" Night said, looking at Lairon. The Pokémon wasn't to happy about being given away so fast, but he couldn't really be sad/mad about it since the two weren't that well aquanted. Before Night could say more, Terashi was gone. "Looks like you're stuck with me now," Night said to Lairon before turning to Growlithe. "I'm guessing by your sudden appearance that you've become quit fond of me. Care to join our rag-tag team of flame and steel?" Growlithe barked happily while Lairon seemed indifferent about the mannor. Taking out his Snag in one hand and a Poké Ball in the other, Night would catch both Pokémon at the same time.

Meanwhile, Larry watched in amazement as his partner took on the form of a larger Prinplup. So much for Snips and Lancer being evenly matched. This would certainly give Lancer the advantage. This also gave Larry an idea. "King Lancer," Larry said to the Prinplup, "This evolution will no doubt make you the strongest. Likewise, I think you'd be best for teaching the rest of the team how to become stronger. It's time I switched out the veterans for the rookies. My apologies, Snips, but I'm afraid you'll have to stay in the PC for now." Snips made a face at this, but said nothing.

"No worries. He's taken, anyway." Odd announced as he walked into the room, squeezing past the others as he made his way to the cabinet and pulled out a pack of Figy Crackers to snack on. "He's mine. He just got off his leash." He teased Lykas before biting into one of his spicy snacks.

"Hey! I can have any fuzzy I want......I just don't want one right now." Lykas countered Odd.

"Ya and if you did, you'd lose me. You know how I feel about polyamory." Odd returned fire. "Anyway, I don't think I've seen you too before. You must be new, right?" He asked before walking over.

"My name's Odd and that's my boyfriend, Lykas. Keep an eye on him." He introduced with a smirk.

Lykas just stood back and pouted at this point. He knew Odd was winning.

"Ah, the story of Jude: top of his gemology major, reduced to status of Fuzzy," Jude mused. "Yes, we're new. And it appears someone's already staked a claim on my butt, so." Once his tail was free from Loki's grip, he finally lifted his tail into his arms to brush out the knots the kitten might have caused. "Thank you, Night. That should satisfy his urge for getting into things, if only for a few minutes, neh?"

"Good morning, Odd!" Keiko said to the older of the two boyfriends with a smile. She wasn't quite sure what was going on between those two and this new person, but she got the feeling that he and the cute Furret hybrid had the same kind of relationship Odd and Lykas did. It was kind of a shame - the boy WAS cute - but she wasn't the type to get in between relationships, regardless of type.

It was that kind of thinking that led her to remember something. She left the kitchen to go check on that something. That something being Aluette.

She didn't say anything right away when she made her way into Aluette's secret base. Mainly because she wasn't sure if Aluette was even awake yet.
