Trigram Attic "Kinda reminds me of the last mission I went on with everyone else. I fed a buncha Rattata to some Paras and I guess that was a good enough move, buuuut..." The boy glanced away and grit his teeth. "There was a guy on the Mount Moon summit with some aggressive Lickitung and that thing it evolves to and I kiiiinda decided the group wouldn't need my help. You know. After that Arbok thing." "You're on edge now because of that, aren't you?" I asked him, rather concerned now.

Tails shook his head. "Not on edge...just I know to keep my distance from Pokemon that think I'm a tasty morsel. I could fight it if I -had- to. I just didn't have to."
"Maybe," Ship said. For a moment he lay on the ground, head in his arms. Unlike the city, the stars here were in full bloom. He'd always found a full sky humbling. "There are many things here we didn't have in the Motherland. If you don't let it intimidate you, and meet it head-on with a curiosity, I think you can do it."

Reno watched the interactions between Keiko and Al with a stunned look upon realizing how unsubtle she was being. Palming his face at Al's down turning of the compliment, Reno decided to intervene. "Al, why don't cha ask the nice lady out? she seems to be interested in ya?" Leave it to Reno to fail miserably at trying to get the ball rolling.

Eve followed Ship's gaze to the sky and let out a soft sight, "That actually is one thing I really miss about my home. The stars are so much clearer there than they are here....wonder why that is."

"It is between city lights and pollution," said Ship. "You mean to tell me your homeland isn't even industrialized?"

"Tails, that could be at least over half the Pokemon known to exist." I said to him, staring at him in confusion. "You going to back out of every fight when the opportunity exist."

Tails crossed his arms in a huff. "Maybe, but I can count only like, ten Pokemon that can swallow things whole."

TerashiLeonGoken Keiko giggled at the flustered look on Al's face. In a way, it was nice to not be the only one that was blushing. Though she felt bad for making Al feel uncomfortable. "I'm sorry, Al. I was just teasing you. I mean, it is a little cute, but mostly, I just look past it. I know why you do it, so I don't mind it."Al blushed furiously once more at the young woman's words. "Th-Th-Thank you...." He replied, looking to the floor in mild embarrassment. At reno's words however, he snapped up to look at him as if he were insane. "I could never be so crass. Miss Keiko would never be interested in an old man like me." He assured the red-headed youth, adjusting his glasses as he did. "Blu?" Tweety asked, fluttering down into Keiko's lap. She seemed to be trying to determine just what was going on between the humans. Was Reno right? Did the female have an interest in her master? If so, why not simply state it? Humans were simply so confusing.

Trigram Attic Tails crossed his arms in a huff. "Maybe, but I can count only like, ten Pokemon that can swallow things whole." I could count more than that, to be honest, but still, the way Tails is going on about this is worrysome. "Ehhh...we're kind of getting off track." I said to him. "Go from talking about how to fight to about things eating things whole...ehhhh...yeah. Just don't worry about it Tails. Thing of it...the thing that you have on those Pokemon is that you are supposedly more keen on your surroundings. You have a better chance getting the jump on them than they on you...just relax, already. Ok?"

"I don't even know what that means," Eve said, giving Ship a slightly curious look before returning her gaze to the sky, "So, I'm guessing that's a no."

"Mm. An industrialized nation can mass produce a product with some sort of energy -- coal, steam, or supplied by the Pokemon. You would see many factories, especially near coasts or rivers," Ship explained, and sat up once more. "It probably is for the better that hasn't happened. But if that's the case, has something happened that sustains your homeland in a classical sort of era?"

"I wouldn't really know," Eve shrugged, thinking over how he described this 'industry', "Though, I'd imagine it's probably because my homeland is pretty much nothing but hybrids. I've noticed the closer I get to some of these human cities, the worse it smells. If that's a cause of these factories things, then I can see why we never caught onto it."

"Hello, little one," she cooed as she fluffed the creature's feathers and pondered. Did she have feelings for Mr. Renard? Was it okay to have feelings for him? Did his age matter so much? Keiko didn't have an answer for any of these questions, nor for the others that arose shortly afterwards. Her last two boyfriends left her so confused as to the workings of the heart that even her own was a mystery to her, now.

Tweety chirruped happily, though curious what the female human's reaction would be. The gist of her question was a simple "Do all Humans turn pink when they like each other?". She'd noticed both Al and Keiko's blush while they spoke to one another and it had vexed her so. Why was her human changing colors? Was he really a Kecleon? Al, on the other hand, simply kept his mouth shut for now, eyes occasionally flicking up to Keiko's face to see how she reacted or to Reno's face to see what he had to say.
