What kind of you? Gaia you, real photo you? I don't mind at all. In fact, I'm flattered.

Earlier today I was singing "On With The Show" for a friend of mine and a random girl turned around and said "You have the coolest voice!"

my reply was "Maybe I should start fronting bands again....."

whoa! you were a frontman?! thats so great! im impressed. seriously.

yeah, the real me. i can get gaia art anywhere, but you have such a talent with faces sweatdrop
i feel weird asking you, but YOU ARE AWESOME AT IT -period-

I've been everything but the drummer. -smiles awkwardly- My senior year was marked by my nickname in the last band I was in..("Yo, DUFF!") and me singing "Sympathy for the Devil" that a friend of mine recorded in a style that was hybrid both the Rolling Stones and GNR version. (The best part was when I grabbed the mic stand and dove down to my knees during the "Since every cop's a criminal" line). The year before I played guitar in a band (we did VR covers) and sang Van Halen's "Right Now" in another talent show. I swear, my singing takes after Vince...but in a good way.

its natural to take on characteristics of a favorite band in your music. i want to take on harmonica because i nurse a soft spot for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.

but that is so great. i'm trying to learn guitar, but its pretty rough with my schedule. i have so much to do in so little time, ya know? my guitar deserves more attention, but i just have too much on my plate.

so its rough.

i know one chord. thats it. i can play smoke on the water (deep purple, notes only) and come as you are (nirvana), two of the easiest guitar songs ever. ><

Another thing I wanted to add.....in the way of drawing, I see two things that really tell the story, and it goes in this order: Eyes and Body position. If the eyes aren't just right, the whole thing can go out the window. And the body position being right won't help. Both have to be just so to make it really work.

This is one such case where I drew an Original Character and it turned out better than I had expected....click cuz it's kinda bloody.
he's a vampire. and I have the rest of the story waiting to be finished...

I stopped playing guitar because I couldn't get the chord changes fast enough. That and improvising was my worst on guitar. Bass it's no big, for some odd reason. idk. I'm suprised with what I do now that I was able to do all I have done. I just wish any of those bands stuck around a little longer. Music's been such a big part of my life. it's killed me this past year that I haven't been able to do much with it because of scheduling and no one with similar tastes and a guitar. you just gotta find time to practice, y'know?

If I ever go back to fix that picture, I'll probably do it myself. that whole thing was done in photoshop, a b&w pic from hell...I've actually gotten loads better than that (it was done this past march) but too lazy to dredge up any of my new stuff...aka, it's all incomplete.
