Leon listened calmly and watched her make the bombs carefully. He could do that, they would be done in no time. her strategy was sound, her intellect something to be admired, but not attracted to, she was far too young. He noted that she left out was she was going to do with the peppers and lemons but figured that would come later on in the process, "let's get to it then," he said when she was done talking, he turned and took his turn to lead her to a more open space where they could work with the materials they had gathered. It wasn't hard to find, most everyone was asleep, and even the manor was too large for all the Valentine clan to live in. An empty room was soon found and he carefully laid down the materials and began to make the flour bombs the way the child had. All the while, his mind was elsewhere.

"Hello sir."

"Hello sir."

A couple vampires, hurrying, but not running, only paused to bow in respect to Louis. He was no monarch nor lord to them, but they had respect for him as they knew him to be the leader of the Unit as well as one of their own kind. In addition to that, a friend to the countess, it garnered their respect whether he wanted it or not. The vampires had been suited in armor and each had a bow with them as they made their way up the stairs. The archers were manning the roof, those with other armaments were ready to take the front at the command. Angeles was seen among them in the main foyer, tightening their armor and checking on the condition of their weapons. She wasn't expecting to find flaws, but was merely showing that she would be fighting with them, rather than sitting back and watching them die for her and their home.

Louis gave a nod to each vampire who greeted him. Whatever the reason, his pureblood which was quite rare in that day and age, his link to Angeles or his former duty to the King, he did not care.

His gaze barely brushed the leader of the Valentines before he stepped out and headed for the garden shack. There he found some of the tools he needed.

"We are not pets!" shouted the male who had been addressing her.

Emilia did not recognize him. She did not even know him.
"Who are you? And how do you dare?" she snapped back.

Her wrists were burned deep by the silver metal surrounding them. Even night would probably not help her.

The male chuckled. "I am Queen's Charlotte's cousin." he barked.

That was Emilia's time to froze. He was not only an alpha but he was also one of the only true heir to the throne of the Queen. Why was he hear losing his time with her?

Kageko followed Leon into the chosen room and took her own seat as she began making the flour bombs. After not too long of a time, her hands grew accustomed to the task and the girl was free to take glances around the room. It was natural for a human to be wary in her situation, just as it was natural for a rabbit to be wary in a fox's den. However, the girl wasn't particularly looking for any vampires that seemed about to attack her.

Instead, she channeled the adrenaline from her natural fear into looking for anything that could be useful. Her eyes landed on the fireplace, perfectly clean. the girl guessed; having concluded that the fireplace wouldn't be of help, her attention shifted away from it. Next up were the curtains,

With her mind rushing around in circles--even as she let her thoughts wander, Kageko kept a constant watch on what she was doing with her hands to make sure she didn't mess up--the girl found that she and Leon had made as many flour bombs as they could with the materials that were available. Kageko stood up and expanded her thoughts once more, but this time they spread out beyond the room and weren't limited only to her sense of sight. Probing into the distance, the girl tried to sense the current positions of the attackers. She tried to guess how much time there was left before they reached the manor and how far they had traveled since she last checked up on them.

Leon set down his last bomb and lifted up a pepper to inspect it. When the child stood up, he looked at her, going silent and still, but there were no signs of battle. He stood as well, tossing the pepper back into the pile, "so what do we do now?" he asked looking to the young woman. He admired her intellect, maybe in a few years....

Angeles stood behind the group of Valentines, all ready with their weapons pointed at the door.

"Who will give the order?"

"Louis."

"What about you countess?"

"I'll be fighting with you."

There were eyes turned to her with respect and surprise in them. She smiled at them, holding out her deathwhisper and changing it into the double-bladed sword, ready for the attack now, whenever it decided to come.

Louis had prepared some reinforcement in the back of the house, nothing much, but enough to slow down or have the humans decide to use another road, which was what he was hoping for.
The small exercise had rubbed his back against his shirt and he was bleeding again, although this was nothing compared to have he had suffered in the last forty-eight hours.

As he was walking back towards the mansion, he could feel the ground moving and when he turned he saw the clouds raised by the horsemen, he cursed and hurried inside.

"We've got company!" he yelled.

They had arrived faster than he had expected and the young human had not be able to do any scouting.

The leadership of the fight kicked in.
"Archers on the roof, fire only when they are in range, don't waste your arrows. A group of three to the west, one to the east. Angeles with Kageko, Leon with me." As much as he would have wanted to keep the vampiress with him, he knew that they needed the knowledge to be successful and the knowledge was in Kageko and Leon's hands at the moment.

---------------

Vincent was leading his troups with a vile smirk.
"Today they shall all die!"
He had parted with a group of four men who he had sent along the other traces, in case they would actually lead to some of those monsters.

"Five minutes." he calculated when at last the Valentines Estate was in sight.
"Don't forget my orders! No prisonners! Kill on sight!" he shouted filled with hatred and anger.

--------------
Emilia straightened up despite the pain.
"The cousin of the Queen would never stand to become a pawn of a human kind who despise any non-human." she snarled back.

That owed her a slap across the face which left a red mark on her cheek. Yet the male was staring at her with narrow eyes. He wanted to hear her. Maybe he had been lied to, she thought. A foolish hope.

"Speak b***h." he barked back.

Kageko's usually smooth face distorted into a slight frown: she had allotted the time wrong. the girl thought to herself, as she heard Louis's commands vibrate throughout the house, With that, the girl turned around and with the help of a makeshift bag made out of a good length of leftover cloth, picked up as many of the small balls she could (along with some other miscellaneous items that the girl seemed to be hoping to craft into something at some later time). She began walking out, expecting Leon to do something similar, and talked at the same time, "We don't have time to set up the hay, so we'll need to ignite each flour bomb separately. Put the bomb on the tip of a sharp projectile, like an arrow, and launch the projectile. When the projectile impacts with the ground, the force should cause the flour to explode out of the bag in all directions. Immediately after that first projectile is launched, another one, this time on fire, will need to be launched as well. It should enter the cloud of dust caused by the first after the cloud has expanded to a decent size without becoming too dispersed. One particle of dust will catch fire, causing another particle to catch fire as well. The speed that the fire is passed from particle to particle should cause the air to expand so quickly that it causes an explosion. Of course, in addition to force, the explosion should also burn because of the method of creation." The girl's words were rushed and unplanned, leading her to say more than she normally did and what she normally would say was said in a much longer method. Not only was she hurrying to join up with the rest of the forces, but her mind was also focused on the incoming troops. At this distance, she was able to extract more specific information, such as numbers and even elements of the more magically talented members.

Leon looked suddenly as orders were echoed through the mansion. He looked down at the child then at what they had made. It wasn't enough, they needed more time, they hadn't even gone on the reconossaince mission they had been ordered on yet, "well you know what they say about teh best laid plans...," he growled. He scooped up a share of the flour-bombs and grabbed a handfull of the small spicy peppers adding them to his pockets before running out to find Louis and take his spot beside him.

"I should be on the roof," he merely informed the vampire leader as he strung his bow.

Angeles looked back at Louis. Really? These were his orders? Stick her with the child who knew how to fight better by his side? Or by Leon's as they were the ones supposed to lay the traps? She grumbled to herself; maybe his wounds were messing with his head, but she then took her spot at the front of the small group of vampires. If she was going out, with or without the girl, she would be leading her clan out at the front. She had already lost hope that Louis knew what he was doing.
