Elsie huffed in annoyance. Cain had stolen her quaffle! Well, it wasn't really hers, but it had been, and she been about to try and shoot for the goals! Determined to get it back, the blonde girl tried to get close enough to the older boy to attempt a steal.

Cain ducked, barely avoiding a steal from Elsie. He glanced back at her as he sped off before turning back to see the goals quickly approaching. The blue haired teen pondered tossing the Quaffle off, but... He was so close to the goals! Maybe he could make this shot... He would probably hate himself for it later, but Cain sped off towards the goals, holding the Quaffle closer to his lithe body.

Ally had missed, but Cain succeeded. Naturally. Turning her broom around to follow the play, she fell behind in flanking position to Cain as they stormed down the field. She hadn‘t had as much success so far as she had at the beginning of the last game. Was she getting tired? Not really. More than anything she wondered if she was starting to overanalyze her plays rather than playing out of instinct like she had at the beginning. Certainly polished training was better than instinctual grabbing, but since she had no polished training, she had to go with what she had. Following behind the elder Chaser, she scanned the field to see which potential thief would strike next.

Elsie came in quickly and succeeded in getting the Quaffle away from Cain. Ally had been back from the action, so she was able to wheel her broom around and dart forward to intercept Elsie. Her arm darting out to the side quickly as she hoped to regain the Quaffle for her team.

Ally growled in frustration. What was wrong with her? Her earlier success was looking more and more like a fluke, a random lucky streak. Had it been? For a little bit she was sure that she was showing actual skill. Right now she wasn’t of much use to anyone. Cain and Chloe were both right in the action, so she took a moment to back out of the dizzying fray and take a breath.

Focus, Ally. Focus. she chanted to herself.

Watching Elsie fly, she reminded herself that she knew how the Second Year flew. It was just like when they were so in sync passing the Quaffle. Just in reverse. Banking the turn hard, she zeroed in on Elsie and dropped down to grab the Quaffle, her blue eyes narrowed with concentration.
