Diem pondered the question and took in his words. Her head raised so she was able to speak more clearly. "Surely, what you say is true there is a deity of Hoppers, but isn't there one of other races, too? I want to be a follower in your temple, because of the good times and relaxation that comes with wine. I want to harness the feel-good aura you exude by being a follower and use it to improve the quality of my life and the lives of those who are near me." Diem thought back at what she just said, and realized that it might have not been such a good idea to speak her mind. Maybe he was right, maybe she did belong over with the rest of the hoppers, but she just had to let him know how she felt.

Rhesos let out a loud rumbling of laughter which echoed through out the hall. Crossing his arms over his chest, he smiled widely at Diem. "Good answer, good answer. I'll give you that." His mind wandered for a moment before he was able to bring himself back into focus. "You know, I like you Diem. Just in those few little words have you shown me that you want to change the world and make its people happy. But the path that you seek ahead of you is not an easy one. No path of following any God or Goddess is easy. You understand?"

Diem let out a sigh of relief, when she heard that Rhesos was pleased with her response. She didn't really know how it came to her, it just seemed to be waiting in her mind. Nodding as Rhesos spoke she wondered what the little ones thought of all this. "I realize that following any deity requires a large amount of dedication, and also a large amount of respect and gratitude on my part. I don't deserve to be talking to you, but yet you allow me into your temple and allow me to speak with you. I'm grateful for that, because I don't know many deities who would do such a thing."

Raising a single finger, Rhesos smiled lightly. "Yes. I understand that. Many of the Gods and Goddesses are not as social with their mortal followers as they used to be back in the day. Many have shut themselves up in their temples and let their Angeliques do the work of sorting them all out. I, myself, like to try and establish familiar ties with all my followers. Though some seem to have gone missing over the months. Which saddens me a bit. The domain of Wine might not be as main stream as the racial gods, but is still a domain that is pleasurable and still full of teachings that could one day just die out completely."
His eyes wandered around the hall for a moment. "Speaking of Angeliques. I'm curious as to where Grapes has wandered off to. She also plays an important part in getting you started here." Turning around, his tail made a great sweep across the floor as his wings ruffled again. "Merlot, do you know where your mother has gotten to?"
Merlot had taken to batting at the wreath of leaves around her father's head, having lost interest in the topic at hand. But straightened up quickly at his question. "I f..fink she wents outsides into the v...v...vineyerds." Her own crown of leaves flopped down over her eye before she quickly pushed it back up.

Satin continued the flute playing, his eyes gently shut so that he could still see White if she moved. His fingers were drifting on and off his flute, the tune reverberating off of the walls. His mind drifted a little, thinking about the new babies. He was sure that they'd turn out as beautiful as the God and Angelique, and as White and her brother.

The playing of the flute made White's eyelids droop a little. She was reminded of the time when Red and herself were mere kits and their father would lull them to sleep with the soft music of his own flute. Those were better days. When she had not a care in the world. But now...now. It was different. She had to make herself a place in this world. The world wasn't going to look after her anymore. She had to stand on her own two legs.
Her parents had the new babies to take care of, and as far as she knew, Red was off making his own start in the world. The presence of another Angelique in the temple was quite clear to her. And she figured it was her brother's. Not too soon she was sure, she would have nieces and nephews running about. Elongating the family line into it's third generation. But what was her purpose?
Her eyes glanced over at Satin for a moment with curiosity before she looked back outside. Clouds had started to gather in the distance, dark clouds. Ominous.

Satin's tune came to a soft ending as he opened his eyes. His gaze went past White to the view outside the window. His eyes furrowed as he saw the darkness. "It looks like a storm is coming, doesn't it?" He asked softly.
He stood up and leaned against the window to get a better look. Satin had not seen such clouds before, which confused him. In his time of travel, he faced many different weather problems.
"What do you think?" He asked, looking at White.

Her ears twitched at the sudden ending of the flute and White's mind snapped back into reality. Eyes focused more on the rolling clouds that were heading in their direction and pretty fast. "Seems so. Its odd, we haven't had a storm like that around here in a very long time...."
The Goddess watched silently now. If she looked close enough, so could see the clouds rolling over themselves as they moved and stretched across the sky. Small flashes of lightening light up sections of each cloud here and there. The faint sound of thunder rumbled in the distance as the wind picked up. A small burst shook the window in front of them, causing White to lean back just a bit as torrents of rain started to shower down from above.

"I've always liked storms, but this seems a lot more dangerous." Satin said, sitting back down. "Usually storms bring imagination, and wonder, but this is just plain scary." He looked at White, hoping to see what she was feeling at this sudden storm. He could feel his fur standing on end, and guessed that he probably looked twice his normal size.

"Hmmm, I guess so." Her tail flopped against the edge of her window seat. Another blast of wind shook the window once more as sheets of rain crashed down upon the temple. The sky had turned dark, though there was still the small bit of light that turned the louds gray from the sun. An afternoon rain, but if it continued on until the night, it would be even darker without the moon. "Are you scared of a little rain?" The corner of White's mouth curled up into a smirk. Was he really?

Satin gave a small chuckle. "Tis'nt the rain that scares me. It's the cloud coloring that gives me shivers." He nodded, fingering the holes on his flute. "That's an unnatural shade for clouds." He shrugged. "Ah well, nature is as nature does." He looked at his flute, giving it a mini look over to check it.

The Goddess raised both eyebrows at the Angelic for a second. "Afraid of clouds? Its not the clouds you should be afraid of really. They can't kill you like lightening can." She raised a finger for a moment. "The look of clouds can be ominous yes, but you shouldn't read too much into it. Then you'd be acting like one of those crazy fools that run around crying that the sky is falling."

Satin gave a chuckle. "It's true that clouds aren't the danger of storms, but they sometimes give hints to the kind of storm. If they are green, then there may be tornados." He said. He shrugged. "Ah well. I haven't studied clouds. You would have to go to an expert on them to get the whole bit.

White furrowed her eyebrows slightly. "Green? I've never heard of green clouds before. Huh...." Twirling a strand of hair around a single finger, she sat there, confused slightly. Green clouds just sounded absurd really. All she had ever seen were gray, white and black. So how was it possible that clouds could turn green?

"I don't know what turns them or the sky green, but I do know that if they're a green color to run for cover. I'm sure you haven't gotten any here. They don't come in the divine realms. Unless if it's at the Storm diety temple..." Satin furrowed his brows.
