Turns out I need a new graphics card. Putting on the drivers causes the problem. So for now can't run d2, dvds, and I imagine some other stuff.

sad Damn. Hope you can get one soon then. I wish I could get another stick of 512 MB RAM so WoW would run better...but this is a laptop XP
