It's not so hard really. You just have to focus on something other than actually riding the bike. Like listening to music or stories.
Or talking on a cell phone.

I wasn't used to the brakes on my bike being on the handlebars! So I just kept pedaling backwards until I just made a really sharp turn. I went off the sidewalk, though. It hurt. ;__;I am so willing to give you everything
I know what you mean...
Once I was ridding my bike downhill (not a good idea, btw) top speed, and... well... the brakes didn't work... sooooo I ended up in a water disposal covered head to toes in, well... s**t... xp
yeah... never rode that hill again xd
But dammit! you're so far
The only stationary object I've ever rode my bike into was a cactus.
And LET ME TELL YOU, I don't recommend it.
@Yin - Some day, I totally will. In fact, some day I'll just get on the train, tell my dad that I'm going on a long ride, and go to see you. xD
(I've been expressly forbidden from going into the city on my own. I have no friends who are allowed to go without parents. If my parents even KNEW that I wanted to meet you, I'm pretty sure they'd flip out.)
