Argh! Why aren't I asleep? I barely got any sleep last night, felt like s**t and worked all day talking to idiots, which is tiring work. But then, I actually start to wake up around 8pm and now I'm barely sleepy. Wtf. Seriously.
Your sleep cycle is off. Your body wants to sleep during the day and be alert during the night. Thus even though you didn't get enough sleep, your body is now saying, party time! Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey. Not to mention, you are finally getting a bit of time to yourself. It is almost cruel to have to sleep your alone time away. XP

My body is telling me to go to sleep, but yet it is all...no wait, lets stay awake. Rawr. I'm gonna just try to sleep some more now...maybe I can find something to help.

Cobra- Yay! I'm sure you'll pass the real test with the same awsome flying colors!

Fog- That phonecall made me laugh so hard. Honestly next time they try to recruit me I'm going to say I'm gay for the hell of it. XD

Affy- That's no good, well at least it will only be for a short stretch right?

Davin- Ow... ow... ow... go to the doctor and get it checked. I probably would have freaked when it first cracked as paraniod as I am when it comes to health. xp

I had two wonderful dreams, one last night, and the other when I was napping. One involved me fighting my way through levels and puzzles. It kind of had a video game feel to the objectives I had to do, but it was real life sort of look to everything, and it isn't to any one particular game. It was awsome though because I love adventure dreams. I was trying to work my way to place to save a friend. She got caught when we were racing across a large sandy desert. Anways, I had to progress by finding these small keys and unlocking portals at these special market/cart areas. Was lots of fun. Got odd to the end though. I was nearing the place to the last portal, and my mom joined me on my advanture at that point. She wanted to give me a magic potion that she knew off. Well the last market cart was this spooky one with dead raven's and birds hanging from strings. My mom reached up pulled one down and popped its head off. She then pulled out a potion and handed it to me. Then all of the sudden the bird started chirpping like it was alive and we looked at eachother like WTF!

Anyways, I was searching around the cart and found the last key. It looked like a mini axe and I was to use it in my final battle. I was getting ready to unlock the portal with it, when the old crone who owned the cart came up to me thanking me for fighting evil. She wanted to give me a special necklace to thank me. Well it was a cursed necklace. Part of me knew this, but I took it and put it on anyways because I'm just that kind of masochistic sort of person that loves to make things tough. See, it was her son I was going to go off and fight, and if I deafeated him, the necklace would make me her slave or something as payment. And she would use my mad fighting skills to try to take over the world or something like that. Anyways, I took the necklace and put it on, then opened the portal to the final battle area. Was just getting ready for the final showdown when I woke up. That was the only sad thing about the dream. I want to finish it. crying

You want sleep? Listen to politics. If it doesn't bore you to sleep, it will bore you to death!

In other news, our street had a little excitement. 3 fire trucks raced through our street. I was in a bad mood at the time so didn't pay much attention until curiousity got the best of me. I looked out to see the last 2 fire trucks zoom past. And then I decided to find out more so I walked down the street and find that it's a side street near the park and there is a small crowd. So I watch from a distance for a while and then walk closer to the crowd, someone walks past me and tells me that it was just someone's gas bottle exploded. Luckily noone was hurt, and the best bit, I was happy afterwards.

(Giggles) I always have wild dreams, and almost always remember them... well for a day or two. I really should write them down when I wake up, but I'm always too sleepy for that. I just love adventuring/action/fighting in my dreams. Have had some really awsome ones. Like one really funny one was I was Mario in a new game for Nitendo 64 type graphics. It was so fun because all the gang was there and like writting would appear in the sky over our heads every once in a while and be like new level, gained blah, blah, blah amount of points. O.o and then there was the one where I was Snake from Metal Gear Solid 2. That was just so beyond cool. I even have at times had continuations or additions to past dreams, but those are rare. XP

Last night involved submarines, planes, and trying to lead a group of children to saftey while trying to solve a case with some British accent sounding boy who was a friend in the dream. Twas cool too. I really do need to start righting these down. I bet I could make some of them into awsome short stories or something. xd

argh..I'm having problems with my teeth..I might need to get the wisdoms pulled and/or surgery to get rid of the others before they have a chance to emerge..They're bothering me and driving me up the wall..

If I do that means I'll most likely be in pain and drugged up...which will probably affect my ablilty to draw because I'll be too out of it to focus. Argh..I'll have to do this soon before it gets worse or something..

I remember having my wisdoms out. I was so freaked out when I was told I needed surgery.

Yeah, you'll want to get them out as quick as you can. An impacted wisdom tooth is not a fun thing. The drugs won't do much, just keep it from hurting (which it will, believe me.) After the surgery, you'll just sleep on the drive home, because you'll be in no state to drive yourself. I slept for a long time after the surgery. Uhh......when the surgery is over, you'll want to keep changing the gauze in your mouth. There'll be a lot of blood, and a neat trick to try is to put slightly damp tea bags on the surgery site. The tannin in the tea helps speed healing or something like that.

Oh, and stock up on chicken broth. If you swell up like I did, then that'll be all you'll be eating for a while. I couldn't even eat pudding, for chrissakes.
I feel lucky that I never really had horrible dental problems. Maybe 2 crooked teeth and some cavities....When I was a kid I had to have my last 4 baby-teeth pulled cause my adult ones were coming in whether they were out or not (which explains why 2 are crooked now), but other than that I'm okay. I still have my wisdoms, and one came in perfectly straight and painlessly....I think I'll be okay wisdom-wise....

I was doomed to start with as far as teeth go, Me and Mephi both. Mum's side of the family all has hereditary dental problems (like accelerated tooth decay, and not a damned thing we can do to stop it ><), and Mephi and I both were in the process of getting our teeth out for dentures. ..I'll have mine by the end of this month.

Heee. no more pain.. no more suffering.. and no more not-smiling-because-of-embarrassing-teeth..

Ugh, all this talk about wisdom teeth reminds me that I really should have mine taken out.

One already came in a year ago, and has since then rotted (is that proper grammar?) half away. I suspect another isn't too far behind.

I'm a horrible vixen; I'd rather deal with rotting teeth than go through the hassle of having surgery. xp

On the plus side, I get to hang out with my mom-- who I haven't seen since our birthday back in August-- next weekend; she's flying to Chigago for a business trip (she's a higher-up for Southwest Airlines), and she's gonna fly me out there for a few days so we can hang out. 4laugh heart

The surgery isn't that big a deal, really. I was freaked out because it was the first kind of surgery I ever had. You'll go in, and if you've paid for it, they'll give you gas first to relax you to the point of near-sleep, and then they'll inject you with a painkiller. You're awake during the entire surgery, in that, if somebody shook you by the shoulder hard enough, you'd wake up. You might feel a little lightheaded afterwards, and you'll probably be asked to lay down for a moment to gather yourself. Someone will drive you home, get you your drugs for the pain and stuff, and then you'll basically sleep four or five hours, perhaps even more. After you wake up, that's when the fun starts. Your mouth is going to hurt. And bleed. And hurt some more. The drugs take the pain away from the surgery site, yes, but if you move your mouth too much, or drink something hot or cold, it'll flare up right away. Try to drink lots of water. Even if you don't eat much, be sure to drink water. And change the gauze a lot. Lots of blood, as I said before. Should be completely healed in about a full week or so.

Speaking of dreams, I had one last night that I need to get off my chest. I dreamt that I was walking my great uncle to a funeral. Dunno who's though, cause my grandmother's mother died just the other day...but then I also found news yesterday that my uncle's cancer had spread and they've taken him off of chemo to just wait.....

In the dream, I went to greet him, and my aunt who is taking care of him warned me to stay away from him, but he was like "no, I want a hug." So I held his arm and helped him to the funeral home....when we got there he disappeared.

I feel so distressed.... emo

Really, I don't think I had much blood at all? Also didn't use hardly any gauze, though I thougth the whole point was to leave it in till it stopped the bleeding not keep removing it. It did take me longer then a week though to be all healed up, though it was a week when I was okayed from eating most foods. Took me over a year to get my gums/teeth to settle. Course most people probably wouldn't notice since most probably arent' as a**l about flossing and all that jazz and wouldnt' even notice their gums are bleeding slightly more.

Manda- Can you go to see him? Sounds like your dream is telling you it is time to go say bye.

MANTIS NEWS-

(Proud sniffle) My little speck of a mantis is no longer a speck... he is a super speck. XD He just shedded his skin last night for the first time since I got him. Still small enough that he might as well be an ant, but now a more larger noticeble ant. rofl

That's part of the problem...everytime I try to see him, he's too tired for visitors....he's been going to bed as early as 1 in the afternoon these days, and I don't really have a ride to Fairfax (where he lives) so I kinda have to work around other people's schedules.... sweatdrop

Wow, you got off lucky. I puffed up like a chipmunk! And I had to go to work that way the day after (I was a hostess in a restaurant at the time) -.- And the bad news... I still have one more tooth in there that they have to take out at some point, but couldn't yet because my mouth is too small to get around in.

I do kind of know what to expect-- I've had surgery to remove two extra teeth above my front teeth-- my body somehow made them, and, of course, I didn't need 'em since I've already got all my adult teeth, so they decided to hang out in my nasal cavity.

adxgjfBUHHH? gonk

What I remember most about it is that they put an IV in my left hand, I said "Oooh, it's cold" as it spread through my arm, and bam! it was 45 minutes later. Talk about fast-acting. whee

My face was swollen like a balloon for weeks (my stepdad and -sister teased me about looking like an orangutan), but I could eat kinda-solid foods; liverwurst-and-Miracle-Whip sammiches for weeks! heart whee

So, yea, that's the only experience I've had with surgery.

Though I did take care of my boy when he had his wisdom teeth taken out; they gave him nitrous oxide, if I remember correctly.
