The slaves that got away

Aurora stood near the entrance they came from and the churchs main door. she left her blanket and sweater behind letting her back breath as the marks were still red as she held the dagger near her watching guard

maki crawled next to aurora "i suppose if we do kill somone we can allways use them for dinner tomorrow" she stated

"Then you'd be on your own with that, because I don't cook people." He said to Maki with a light laugh.

Aurora looked at maki "true, but humans don't have a good amount of meat" she then looked at danny "we are moving on, hopefully we can reach a bank so i can get some money out"

dusk noticed how quickly everyone ate there, and then stared at her bowl for a moment before finally slurping hers down. she set it aside and crawled back to her little makeshift bed, pulling the covers over herself.

she looked over to where Aurora stood guard. she kinda hoped they did get some meat the next day, but she didn't want to say it out loud. they were in a church, after all. wishing someone deah in a cjurch made her frightened.

when Aurora said they were moving out, she quickly stood up and gathered her new blanket. she hurried over to where they were all gathering.

"Ah, I see. Oh, I didn't think of this while I was in the cage, but the guards didn't even search me. So.." He started as he searched his pockets before he searched his coat pocket. "Ah! Here it is!" He said and he pulled out a pouch with a string attached to it.

Auroa looked at dusk "dusk get some sleep we are moveing after everyone gets some sleep" she said picking her back up and laying her down "now sleep and you too conner and danny" she then walked to amkei "you better get some sleep to maki dear"

maki picks dusk up and walks over to their bed layind her on hers then laying down on her own and going to sleep

Aurora stood up watching guard as she hummed a bit as she felt a small amount of wind run through her hair as she smiled

"what is that?" maki asks looking at danny

"My money, I had almost forgotten about it. There are quite a few bills, like 20's, 50's and 100's in it, I have been saving them. Do you think it will help us out?" He asked as e still held out the pouch.

Aurora stayed still "we can see when we reach town untill then sleep* she said nsapping her fingers makeing all of them asleep

maki woke a few hours later and went and prayed then came back to the camp packing up the extra things they had being quiet as to let the others sleep "aurora i got it get some rest" she said to her

Aurora looked at maki and smiled "its alright we move out in a bit, i can sleep at the next stop okay maki dear" she said patting her check gently
