"Just twenty," Jules said. "Ain't too young to worry, ain't too old to lie. Why d'you ask?"
"And now you should be noogieing me for messing with you, or at least pin me down and tickle me," Tails explained, his grin resurfacing. "But not gnaw at my ears. I'm the one that does that to you."

Trigramatic "Just twenty," Jules said. "Ain't too young to worry, ain't too old to lie. Why d'you ask?" "And now you should be noogieing me for messing with you, or at least pin me down and tickle me," Tails explained, his grin resurfacing. "But not gnaw at my ears. I'm the one that does that to you." "I'm only twenty five, not that much older than you are." I said to him. "I haven't reached those upper ages yet by any means." "......" Tristen veered his eyes away for a moment. A lot to take in, for sure. But. Hey, if that's what Tails wants...only a second later, Tristen goes to pounce on Tails.

"Maybe, but there's two of you already. Hard telling how many more there are. Klonoa looks like a twelve year old, even."
"Yeah, things would be much simpler if I could date myself," Klonoa mused. "But that might be -too- far down the rabbit hole."
"Hahaha, heeeey, stoooop!" Tails cried, and pretended as to try to roll back atop Tristen. And, for now, pretended weakness.

"Eh, well." I said. "My means of long life didn't come willingly, so you know. At any rate, Sub should be around soon. He'll probably have another mission for everyone to go on. Seems like ever since putting Ein out of the picture, things just have gotten worse instead of better." I said to them.
"This is what you wanted, isn't it?" Tristen spoke up with a few giggles to go with it. He then went on to tickle Tails a bit.

"Then I guess cavalry came just in time," Jules said, nodding as if this were absolute.
Tails paused for a moment, grinning. "Yeah, but I didn't say it. Stop iiiit, I might pee myseeeeelf!"

Stop iiiit, I might pee myseeeeelf!" "Well, glad for the help, Jules." I said. "I guess in the meantime, both you and Klonoa can try to find a place around here to call your own for the time being." I said to them. Tristen got up off of Tails. At least Tristen was pretty susceptible to having fun at least, rather, more so than how he once was. He probably wouldn't have here weeks ago.

"Oi...I thought Pokemon Eggs hatched faster when they were with a trainer....." Odd commented to himself as he rummaged through the fridge in search of something to drink. He found another drink with little trouble and pulled the B8 out of the back. Opening it, he took a healthy drink as he headed back toward his room, where the Egg was sitting on his bed with Lykas' Quilava curled up around it to help keep it warm.
Lykas was loitering in Goldenrod City. He'd stake his claim outside his favorite game shop when it got dark. They were releasing one of the newest and most awesome games of the year in the morning. He honestly wished they'd have a midnight release for it.

Sub sits in the lab of the HQ, working away amongst piles of books scattered across the table in front of him. He was apparently studying, a certain subject as all the books pertained to the same topic. He looked like he was up all night hitting the books, his eyes were kind of blood shot and his hair messed up. He didn't speak a word.

While Sub was doing that, Ceramew had ended up on her own tangents. She was outside, sitting near the waterfall, with her Styler in her hands.
Only a few minutes prior, she had been surprised to find that communications were indeed possible. Spencer was able to contact it to her dismay, and he had wasted no time in grilling her. Or trying to, at least. He had barely gotten around to asking why she was still around a bunch of vigilantes, let alone the fact she had been a Pokemon all along, when the other end was effectively hijacked.
She could hear another voice, then some squabble between it and Spencer until control was relinquished. She didn't recognize the new voice, though.
"Hey, uh, Serra, right?"
"Um... yeah?"
"Yeah, sorry about that, we're all a little high strung. Been a very crazy time since the Union tried to get on its feet again."
"Wait, huh?"
"...You didn't know? Yeah, Spencer tried to round some of us up. Some of the others too."
"I wasn't told of it..."
"Wait... oh, here we go. Now I see. It says here you were dismissed on accounts of treason and vigilantism, and a key member of what caused this whole mess. Yeah, I think I have half a mind to-"
"I caused this!? No, I spent a good two months as Albedo's little floating puppet! And a lot longer before that, to "spy" on the very so-called vigilantes that stopped a lot of the very mess that did happen! And you want treason? How about I quit playing ranger, tried to do my job, and doing that required nothing short of working with them to root him out!?"
"Well, they're not doing us any favors. And I'm sorry, I-"
"And another thing! I was trying to find some of you all too, because I wanted to see the Union recover some sort of reputation myself. And if Spencer was the one who put that there, overzealous as he is, he doesn't want any part of what I am right now!"
Where this guy and Spencer were, there was a cold chill. Someone was just a tad upset.
"Uh... just... explain. All of it."
She was going to be a while. What with explaining what she did know of what went down before, the whole mess that caused her to do what she did, and why the heck a Pokemon would want to go into a human profession to begin with.

Sub's head rose from his book as his ears perked up, something seemed to have startle him as he was suddenly very alert to his surroundings. He looked around confused for a bit before speaking out loud to himself. "Did I just hear someone yelling? Odd..." He said continuing to look around. "Hm...someone, somewhere, is very, very mad..." He shrugged and went back to his book. He couldn't have heard Ceramew from all the way at the waterfall, could he?

That same chill eventually did die down as Ceramew calmed down, but the feeling was not left unknown.
Elsewhere in the routes leading to Mount Silver, Sol had found himself stopping momentarily. For him, it was almost too easy to discern the source. Doesn't help with knowing just how that source got when upset. But with it stopping in short order, immediate intervention wasn't needed. He kept an eye out, though.
Back at that waterfall, a lot of the explanations were finally given. At least the gist of them. Most of it didn't come off as that unusual; Albedo did seem to have a way of... coaxing people to do his bidding. She wasn't the first known case by any means.
What did come off weird was this whole matter of a Pokemon being a ranger. Such a thing was unheard of, nevermind the fact it was largely under the radar for quite a few years. What was worse is they couldn't exactly dismiss her now, at least for that reason; regardless of species, she went through things proper and graduated from the academy like anyone else.
Perhaps, this guy thought, it was better not to question it. Let the squirt prove herself. If she was wanting to help their cause still, it wasn't worth a refusal. But it left the matter of the group she was with.
"...I see. Yeah, uh huh, okay. Look, if you're gonna do anything for us, just don't do it with that group. Or try not to. We don't need them screwing us up."
Ceramew didn't say anything, and cut off the communication. She could do that much, but she wasn't about to make any guarantees. She wasn't about to ditch these guys a second time.

After settling everything with Jules and Klonoa, rather, bringing them both up to speed of what was going on in the world that we were involved in, I decided to take the time while I had a moment's peace to go and start making up another letter to Miles...or rather Mikey, back in the Hyda region. At least get started on one anyways. I wasn't going to hurry up and finish. After all, Articuno just have gotten back and he deserves the rest. Especially after he's been out into the world for more than a few days, which that in itself was just nothing short of a miracle from God. I guess the assurance that there was going to be someone waiting for Articuno was all the more drive to get there quicker. Well, its progress, at least, as far as I was concerned.
I sat there at the table in the dining room with a Coke close by and started to write...
Dear Mikey,
I have to say it was quite a surprise getting the reply from you instead of from Miles. Don't get me wrong, it's great to hear from you, too, actually. Though, telling me not to worry about whatever Miles is getting into is not exactly comforting. Think. It's your father. Really? That's let alone the fact that telling ME in particular not to worry is just going to make me worry more. However, I will try to keep composure and not act. Yet.
I gave a bit of a heavy sigh and took a sip of my Coke, then leaned back and stared at the ceiling for a moment. You know, for some reason I was finding a bit of enjoyment in this. There was that...whole...I don't know...allure to writing a letter to some one that I didn't think was there at one time. Go figure. I then sat back up and started to write some more.
Anyways, I guess I should bring you up to a bit of speed of things. You're right in guessing that Tails isn't going to let Tristen go willingly. Ever since our parting in Hyda, Tails has stuck to Tristen like glue. He's pretty much the big brother that I tried to be before getting 'promoted' to that father figure he sees today. I hadn't told the boys yet about the kids that were once at Swain's place, and its good that they found their homes, sans that one kid, who found a new place. Personally, I wish all the kids could of found their respective parents, but at least the adopted one now has a loving home to be a part of. I'll let Tristen know of the offer, but personally? I kind of doubt he'll take it.
Fact of the matter is right at this moment, he has been perceptive as all get out. While not only he's been settling in very well with the likes of us, he's been trying to learn everything all at once. Its kind of sad that he's like this, actually, given that he's missed out so much, but its good that he's well down the road of recovery, sure enough. Tails, Freth, and I have been helping out in any way we can possible. He's started learning how to read for one, and he's also slightly dabbled in Pokemon training. Irony of the latter is that his first Pokemon? A Natu. One that he, at first, was virtually scared to death of. Go figure.
I laughed to myself a bit thinking back to that day here weeks ago. I then thought for a moment. I wonder what to put in next...

After deciding that, perhaps, it would be better for his health to not waste too much heat outside, Tails had come back in with Tristen, and probably found some way to pass the night...
But now he lay on the couch watching Blizz write. Maybe Blizz would have ideas for them...

Trigramatic After deciding that, perhaps, it would be better for his health to not waste too much heat outside, Tails had come back in with Tristen, and probably found some way to pass the night... But now he lay on the couch watching Blizz write. Maybe Blizz would have ideas for them... Tristen was next to Tails, tilting his head at me, watching. He was a bit anxious as well, wondering on what to do. Personally, he was wanting to get started with his training with Jules, but with so much going for him, why push the luck? "What do you think he's writing about?" He asked Tails. I thought for a moment. Maybe... Perhaps while I am on the topic of Tristen for the moment, I might should mention this much. There is a Jolteon hybrid by the name of Jules, who apparently runs a courier service across the regions. And I think he pretty much implies that its a solo operation. I am inclined to believe him, given how fast he goes from place to place in such short time on his two feet alone. Apparently, he was the one who got this place, this group's new hideout, started up and running, allowing Sub to do what he needs to do. Apparently, since then, Jules has been getting into run-ins with others, and in the most recent case, ran into Tails and Tristen in Hoenn, while the two boys were out looking for hot springs. I don't know what exactly happened over there, but I do know this much. Apparently, it gave Tristen a serious drive to excel in his hybrid prowess. Because of which, it wasn't until a day later I ended up getting in contact with Jules. I got in touch with him during another one of his courier runs...but apparently fate has a weird way of working.
The client in question? Klonoa. I kid you not. And crazier still, apparently I caught him at a time where he was pretty much wanting to quit his business for the time being. No, he's not quitting because the business he is running is going down or anything. It's more of the matter...well. I guess he's bored. He says that he has spent twenty years running his Windy Step business and now he wants to spend another twenty years doing something else. I guess going on some adventure of some sort, something that this bunch is probably going to provide more often than not, like it or not. Stranger still is the fact he says that he's been a part of this in some other world before, which well. I'm inclined to believe, because I've heard and seen stranger thanks to being with your dad. Why knock this?I grabbed my coke and took another sip...

"When Blizz writes letters, it's usually to Miles," Tails answered. Then, with a grin, he lowered his voice. "Hey, I dare you to sneak up and give him a little shock."
