Alex had gotten a early start today. He had woken up, worked out, showered, and eat by nine o'clock rolled around. Then by twelve he had practice piano, finished the score he had been working one, and cleaned up the house. Now he found himself a bit bored. Looking out the window to see how nice of a day it was outside and smiled a bit. 'Why not go the the park?'[/co lo r], he thought as he grabbed his phone, headphones, and a bottle of water. He was going to walk there.

Alex finally made it to the park and smiled taking a deep breath. The air was fresh and crisp. He loved it this time of year. Not to cold and not to hot. Maybe he'd find inspiration for a new piano score while he was here.

It had been so long since he last moved that Alphonse forgot how disorientating moving to a new place could be. He had spent two days getting settled into his new place then another trying to get over his jetlag, by the fourth day he was still tired from it all. He couldn't say he regretted the move, though, not with the view of the ocean he was greeted with every morning. The only downside to his new house was the fact that he was practically on the ocean and the smell was almost overwhelming every time he stepped outside. Four days and Alphonse was already craving a change of pace. He needed to go somewhere where he could have a break from strong scents.

The town was large, so it would take some time to figure out where he should go at what times to best avoid crowds until then he was forced to wander around. Well, maybe not forced, since he would enjoy exploring his new home. He made sure to grab his loyal pet before heading out. There were other housing districts but those were bound to have a lot of foot traffic, any of the shopping districts were out of the question of course, and there weren't many other places he could think of. After a while, Alphonse wound up in the park, which appeared to not have many people in it. The scenery was wonderful and in such an open area scents usually didn't linger long, the only thing that stood out was the smell of budding flowers. By now Pharos had decided to nap in his pocket so he decided to leave the snake alone as he strolled around the park aimlessly.

The park would undoubtedly look beautiful once the flowers bloomed, but for now, it wasn't giving him much inspiration. Maybe he could find something interesting when he came at a different time...Alphonse had been so preoccupied with his surroundings that he didn't realize he had wandered upon the only other person in the park until he nearly ran into him. "Ah, 'scuse me." He mumbled, pausing as he looked the man over. The snake demon blinked, staring at him for a moment before leaning his face closer to the other man. "Hey, quick question, what color are your eyes? They really that bright a blue?" It wasn't a common eye color, not that he could actually tell the difference between certain ones, so it was an interesting sight.

Alex was standing on the walk away admiring some of the planet life around him. Maybe he could creat a springtime score. Just then someone bumped into him. When he turn to face him the man was in his face. Then he asked about Alex's eyes. Alex smirked with one of his signature smiles. "Yes, my eyes are truly this blue, dear sir. My mother gave them to me and my magic makes them all the more bright. May, I ask if you hair is truly this interesting color?", he said smoothly. He reached up and played it a strand of Alphonse's dyed hair. His English accent came through like silver bells.

Some days he found it easier to pull men to him with his accent. Some ay it didn't help much. Some men had a taste for the English while others didn't he understood that. But to him ethnicity didn't really matter s long s the uy was ood looking. This guy who had ran into him was a looker to. He had seen a few lookers while here for the short time he had been here. But till none hat pulled at his heart string enough to make I'm want them as his own.

So his eyes were that color because of the magic in him, how interesting. Alphonse hummed quietly, not pulling away from the man even when he reached up to toy with his hair. "Nah, I dye it." He answered, giving him a toothy grin. Interesting wasn't a comment he god often, it was kind of refreshing, especially since this was the first person he'd met so far. From his accent, it seemed like this guy was a foreigner too. The snake's own accent had faded during his time in America, but it was still undeniably French.

"So, have you lived here long, monsieur?" He finally straightened up as he asked another question but still stood close to the man. They were already talking, so Alphonse didn't see any reason to not continue. It'd be nice to get to know someone, maybe the guy could even tell him more about the town.

The young psychologist smiled to herself as her mind recalled a humorous event that had taken place in the hospital the previous day. A small child had been acting up and stubbornly refused to get an injection. His mother had appeared utterly exhausted and the doctor, impatient. Not even the promise of sweets could tempt the child. Since she had no clients for the day and had only returned to work to fetch some forgotten papers, Andrea felt that she might be of some help. She had knelt before the boy and whispered something in his ear that had instantly calmed him. Something about the needles protecting kids from wicked ghosts. Despite how it may sound, her tactic had worked and kept him quiet for the duration of their stay. Children were odd. Odd but adorable. Brushing some of her copper hair behind a pierced ear, Andrea looked up suddenly to find herself in the middle of what appeared to be a park. When had she gotten here? How had she failed to notice the change in scenery? The obvious answer was that she had become so lost in her thoughts that she'd continued walking on aimlessly. Oh well, a park didn't seem like a bad place to sit and rest for a while. Her feet were a little sore from all the walking, the scars on her soles stinging with each step. Absently, she wondered if there was anyone else about. Usually one associated parks with a bumble of activity and crowds, but she had yet to come across a soul. Maybe it was just the early hour of day? However upon closer inspection, the redhead spotted a few others within her line of vision. A cute couple lounging beneath a cherry blossom tree. A personal trainer with a client. And a few others. And although parks were usually a good place to meet new people, she wasn't interested in interrupting anyone. She'd much prefer spending her time by herself. It was obvious she wasn't really a social butterfly.

Andrea continued searching her earthy surroundings and her eyes seemed to light up at the sight of a vacant playground set. With a childish glee, she approached the set and eyed the equipment. Suddenly she was glad of her small size, as she was small enough to be able to use the equipment efficiently. She chuckled to herself as she instantly gravitated towards the monkey bars, having to stretch on the tips of her toes to be able to reach the closest bar. Gripping the bar with both hands, the woman swung her way to the middle of the set of bars and hoisted herself up on top of them. With a superior view of the area below and around her, she hooked her legs around two bars and swung over the edge, successfully hanging upside down along the side of the bars. Luckily today she wore no skirt. Only dress pants and a warm top. Though it probably wouldn't have mattered to her either way. She was having fun by herself. Her eyes were closed tightly but her lips were curved into a rare grin. This was stupid and childish of her, but as any doctors knows, sometimes it's good to have some fun once in a while. Though Andrea was probably setting a bad example for the younger generation. Luckily for her, there were no kids about just yet.

Emery was liking the feel of his new city, it was nice! It was big enough for adventures but small enough to not get completely lost! Plus, it had a beach! He has to see if there's a local soccer team that he could maybe join! He could be a coach for a kids' team, though... That'd be fun! Now that he's free from his parent's leash, he can finally decide on what he wants to do in life. Furthermore, he can plan his own schedule and actually meet people. It's comforting to know no one's breathing down his neck for once. However, he was a bit disillusioned when he moved here. He sorta thought when he escaped from his parents, he would be free of responsibilities and all the things he found annoying. Now he realizes he's gonna have to get a job soon, do his own taxes, unpack all the boxes that remain untouched at home, and do grocery shopping and budgeting. He better not crash and burn while he's here because then he'll have to move in with someone else, or worse, his parents. And there's no way he's going back to them! He has to make this new "living on his own" thing work!

He had planned on bringing both Allegro and Tobi out for a walk, but it seemed only the puppy had the energy to get up and get moving. He collared up his fluffy pup for a little stroll and made a mental note to find out where the local pet store is later. It was a little chilly outside, but it certainly wasn't anything he couldn't handle, and Tobi would certainly enjoy the cool weather. They made their way to the park, and the puppy immediately began to tug on his leash, wanting to explore. It looked like a really nice park! He walked over to an area where there weren't as many people and detached the leash from his collar to let him roam free. He wasn't worried about him running off; Tobi tended to stay close to him, and there weren't many bushes for him to hide in. Tobi ran towards a nearby playground and showed interest in one of the spring riders that was shaped like a horse. He started to yip at it and attempted to get on it, but it was hard for him since he was small and it would move every time he tried. Emery chuckled a bit at the sight but noticed a lady around his age hanging upside down on the monkey bars. "Man, I haven't seen anyone own the monkey bars like that in a while!" He said jokingly, hoping to start up a conversation with her. Someone who's young at heart would be fun to talk to!

The young woman clearly seemed to be enjoying herself as she hung from the bars like a child. She'd never practiced gymnastics before so she wasn't completely confident in her ability to remain on the bars. But at least she hadn't made a fool of herself yet. Not that there was anyone around to judge her if she did fall, anyway. The sound of an animal's bark caught Andrea's attention, startling her. Her eyes flew open and she looked around, keeping an almost vice-like hold on the bars as she did. The strange sound seemed to be coming from a pup. A strange pup who was attempting to climb atop one of those weird rides. The ones which just rocked back and forward on a spring. It was of a horse. The spectacle earned a small chuckle from the doctor as she felt herself start to relax once more. She allowed her hands to drop from the bar and found a smile returning to her features within seconds. She should definitely install something like this in her house. It was calming. Though it wasn't as effective in her mind as running. Going for long runs around her district always helped to clear her mind.

A masculine voice called out and seemed to be addressing her. She had been so distracted by the canine that she had failed to notice its (apparent) owner's arrival. Andrea's grin vanished and she struggled to keep her hold on the bars. Her eyes flew to the newcomer and she stared. It wasn't because of something as frivolous as instant attraction. He was handsome, but as she stared at him, her eyes were sharp with suspicion. Not awe. Why was he talking to her? What did he gain from such an experience? This man puzzled her. She couldn't tell if his words were mocking or serious. At least he didn't seem to be giving off the sadistic vibe. Then again, most men didn't. But Andrea figured that dogs were good judges in character -better than her, anyway- and therefore, since the dog seemed to like him, he was a good guy. Well, good enough anyway. She could relax her guard a little.

"Was that supposed to be a compliment? Or just an observation?" She asked coolly, unconsciously reverting to the professionally distant persona she often donned with clients. She gripped the bar on either side of her thighs and pulled herself into a seated position. Careful not to fall, she balanced precariously on the painted bar. Once she was upright, she reached over and grabbed hold of the bar directly in front of her. Slowly sliding off the bar she was currently on, she soon found herself hanging from the second bar. Her arms were burning because of the effort, but it wasn't unbearable. They were probably burning because she didn't usually exercise in such an odd manner. She preferred running. Finally letting go of the steel bar, Andrea dropped to the ground unceremoniously and almost lost her balance upon landing. Luckily for her, she caught herself before she could fall. When she looked up her cheeks were flushed and her eyes bright.

Defiantly refusing to acknowledge how short she seemed when compared to the dog's owner, Andrea reached inside her pockets and withdrew her business card. Holding it out to him expectantly, she offered a small, sheepish smile. She'd been caught doing something stupid and only hoped that he wouldn't tell anyone. After a few seconds she remembered that according to social norm it was polite to introduce oneself when handing out cards. Staring down at the icecream printed on the back of the glossy card, she sighed. "I'm Andrea. My patients call me 'Dr. Dae' and children call me 'Sundae' -Hence the icecream..." The strange introduction was one she used automatically for everyone. It was one of her many quirks. Nodding towards the pup nearby, her smile brightened. "Is he yours? He's cute." She'd always had a soft spot for animals. Especially dogs. Although her apartment wouldn't allow her to keep one. It was too small.

After a long, exhausting day of doing absolutely nothing, Savannah decided that she should probably get her butt off the couch and go do something. Sighing a bit and stretching, she then looked over at the huge loaf of a dog laying his head on her lap, looking as cuddly as ever. Kissing the top of the dog's huge head, Savannah then said the magic words. "Wanna go for a walk?" And in an instant the dog leaped off the couch and his booming bark echoed through the tiny apartment. "Cujo, hush." Savannah said before grunting as one of the dog's large paws hit her stomach. Huffing a bit, she grabbed the dog's leash and clipped it onto his collar. The dog bounced around excitedly and dragged Savannah out the door as soon as it was opened. Calming the dog down enough, Savannah shut the door behind her and locked it. Dropping her keys into her bag, she held onto the leash. With her enhanced strength, she was able to easily hold the dog close to her so that he walked by her side.

This was a new place though and the young dog was very interested in all of the new smells and sights. Savannah felt a bit bad that she hadn't brought Cujo out on a walk sooner, but she had just arrived a few days ago and had been trying to settle in. Letting the dog sniff a bit, she then tugged at his leash. "Let's go." She said before leading the dog along the side walk.

As Savannah looked around, the young woman then smiled a bit as she saw the entrance to the park. Ah, that was perfect! She could let the dog run all he wanted. As she walked through the park, she passed by two people and towards the other end were it was empty. Cujo was well trained, but he liked to meet new people. Looking at the dog, she lovingly kissed his nose before unhooking his leash from his collar. Finding a sizeable stick, she threw it hard. The dog barked happily as he ran after it. Smiling a bit, Savannah took the stick from him when he returned it, making a face as her fingers touched a large gob of saliva. "Gross..." She mumbled before throwing it again and wiping her hand on her pants.

Watching as the dog ran after the stick, the brunette then tilted her head to the side as she watched the huge dog drop it in the grass. What was he doing? Her eyes then widened a little as she noticed a figure walking. Where had they come from! "Cujo stop!" She yelled at the dog, but he was too happy to see a new person. The behemoth of a dog went running towards it's new new friend, each of his huge paws landing on the male's shoulders, more than likely knocking the stranger over.

Cussing under her breath, Savannah ran over to the dog and the victim that had been knocked over, their face likely being slobbered on by excited St. Bernard kisses.

▁ ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ Rigel 'Jax' Falkov Dragonkin
❛It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one.
We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up.
And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know.
It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is.

Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things.❜

▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

○I'm feeling surprised.
●I'm speaking to no one at the moment.
○I'm currently wearing a dress shirt and a tie. Just the usual, really.
●I have $200 on me and $800 stashed in the bank.
○I currently have feelings for no one.

▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

He had just came from the hospital after paying a visit to his sickly elder brother who had carelessly overdosed on his medication. Rigel shook his head and heaved a sigh, wondering how on earth Camil could make a mistake such as that. As idiotic as Rigel seemed on a daily basis, he is still a very intelligent man. He just wasn't too prone on showing that side of him to the world. Nonetheless, today was still an important day. It was the ninth month since his wife had died, since Aria had left him. He went to the beach long before the sun had risen, and there, he lowered the bouquet of white tulips into the ocean. Tulips had always been her favourite flower, and the ocean has been her favourite place to go to. Whenever she was sad, she would build her sand castle on the beach, and she would cheer up straight after. She was such a simple minded woman, a young child at heart, and it pains him that she had been taken away from him so soon. If only he had a little more time with her, he'd tell her how much he cared. How much he loved her, and that no matter what happens, he'd love her all the same. His feelings wouldn't change the slightest bit. Aria had taken a piece of him to which he will never get back, and when she died, a part of him had died with her, a part of him that will never be complete without her by his side. She will always be the only person he'll ever have feelings for. That was something that will never change.

Before he knew it, he found himself walking down the familiar path in the park of Uptown Soleil. How long has he been walking around aimlessly? How long has be been so gloomy? He shook his head and wiped away the depressing feeling that had begun to build itself up within his chest. There was no need to affect another person's day just because his had been horrible. Instead, he forced a smile, and once again, the facade he put on would be quick to take over. He fiddled with his wedding ring on his left ring finger, and he'd cast his gaze to those who walked past him. Everybody seemed so cheerful, and that was enough of a reason for him to stop being so gloomy in return. However, it seems, there was something else that he wasn't all too prepared for, which had been the sudden tackle from behind, causing the man to fall clumsily and face flat to the cold hard ground, but of course, not without screaming at the top of his lungs beforehand. He turned over to see who it was, but before he could catch a glimpse, he would be showered with slobbery kisses and it didn't take too long for him to realize just what it was. His panic soon turned into a set of laughter as he caressed the beast's long fur. "S-stop! I've had quite enough kisses now!" he laughed, briefly remembering someone calling out the dog's name just seconds before he was pounced. What was its name again? Cujo, was it?

"H-hey, you belong to someone, don't you? That's quite a shame. I would have kept you for myself!" he spoke in between, still under attack by its lovely affection. However, Rigel didn't mind. Hd's always had a soft spot for animals, after all.

Savannah paused a moment as she heard the loud shriek that the person who was just knocked over by 200lbs of dog made. Shaking her head a little, she then ran over to where the dog was harassing the man with a million kisses. "Come on you dumb goof get off the man." She said as she easily lifted the dog off of the man he had jumped on and placed him to the side, Cujo looking startled that he had been picked up before going back to his normal dopey face. "Sit." The dog stared up at Savannah and let out a loud 'boof' before he sat down, panting and his tail wagging. The brunette then looked at the man that the dog had knocked down. Reaching out her hand to help the male, there was a blush on her face as she gave him a sheepish smile. "I-I'm so sorry! He's usually well behaved but gets so excited to meet new people." She said. "He didn't hurt you at all... d-did he?" She asked him softly, she would feel terrible if he had gotten injured because of the dog.

○I'm feeling surprised.
●I'm speaking to no one at the moment.
○I'm currently wearing a dress shirt and a tie. Just the usual, really.
●I have $200 on me and $800 stashed in the bank.
○I currently have feelings for no one.

As much as he enjoyed the company of animals, this dog was getting a little overwhelming, and poor Rigel had started to suffocate underneath its heavy paws. Just when he thought he'd run out of oxygen, there came a young lady, his life savior, if anything who seemed to have lifted the canine with ease. What was she?! "T-thank you! I could've sworn your dog turned from an angel into a death reaper in mere seconds!" he gasped for air, thankful that it was over and done with. As horrified and surprised as he had been, he still had a goofy grin plastered onto his features. The young man could have sworn that he felt the earth shake when the dog sat its buttocks down, but nonetheless, it was still quite an obedient fellow. "Aren't you a super adorable one!" Rigel reached forth and gave a welcoming pat upon its head before he directed his single eye back towards the direction of the young lady. Brunette, hazel brown eyes. He made a mental note to remember that. When her hand was extended, there was no hesitation in offering her help to stand up, to which he thanked her and dusted himself off. The slob left upon his face left him feeling a little at loss for words, a little unsure of how to react, except wipe it off with his hands, only to have them hanging off his fingers like a thick layer of slime.

"Oh, no! Don't worry about it! He's super friendly! I think I like him already!" he laughed, and quickly shook his head at her following question. He wasn't hurt anywhere to be honest, none that he knows of at the moment. "Oh, I'm not hurt! It takes a lot t-" however, halfway through his sentence, he paused, and his hands would reach up to cup his red, swollen cheek. He fell silent for a short moment as he simply stared at the young lady, and in that split second, his eyes teared up completely. "I-It huuuuurts..!" he whined, feeling the numbing pain slowly spread across the side of his face. The impact had been so sudden that he hadn't realized just how painful that fall had been. "My face hurts! It's so painful-..!"
