kefkadragon Wrong movie DA. The hobbit is before that. Wait, gollum makes a brief appearance in the hobbit. Either that or... No bilbo doesn't turn into gollum. .... neutral

Gollum makes his presence in the hobbit, and challenges bilbo to a riddle contest. When gollum loses, he tries to find his "precious", the ring, in an attempt to eat bilbo, but bilbo had picked it up earlier. the ring had slipped from gollum's hand last time he went hunting for goblin to eat.
Specifically.
As for the release date on the Hobbit, I thought they had said sometime in december, but i'm not sure what past that.

What bothers me is the rumors of saruman showing up in the scenes and "new" and "yet as of now unnamed" characters appearing. The purist in me is cautious to think as to how this is turning out.
The other part of me is wondering how the fighting between Del Toro and PJ will have impacted certain decisions in the process, since they've been on and off during pre-production on a number of details about where to go with it supposedly...
But for now, just content waiting for Brave and Dark Knight Rises.

Saruman and new characters in The hobbit? Damn it hollywood! If it isn't broke don't fix it! I believe Disney is evil so I won't see brave. I haven't seen much for dark knight rises but if it's like dark knight it ought to be good.

*Shrug* Not sure how disney is any more or less evil than any other money grubbing studio, and it is somewhat difficult for me to ignore them considering that they do make a pretty decent movie from time to time. But to each their own.
I'm not sure what else to look forward to at the moment though, so I'm content to list those two for the short future and summer blockbusters.

i patiently wait for the Hobbit. i was super excited to see the trailer back last year biggrin i love the song and i hope for lots of singing like in the book/animated movie
as for Brave, i look forward to seeing awesome archery skills and kilts flapping in the wind. Because you know only the manliest of men can wear a kilt biggrin
Dark Knight is gonna kick a** as always, and as for Prometheus that just came out i hope Ridley Scott makes it as awesome as it appeared to be in the trailer
