"Were you there for the conclusion of the Battle for Unova, Terashi?" Sub asked the trainer as he walked into the room, overhearing his comment about himself, and the meteorite fragments. "These fragments are pure chi, concentrated energy given physical mass, do you know what happens when you destroy something like that?" He asked him.

I gave Sub an odd look in response to his question. Battle for Unova? I hadn't heard of anything like that. "No, I was probably at the academy then. I hadn't heard about anything like that. What would happen if you were to destroy something like that?"

Chi wasn't a subject that was taught at the Academy. Explains why there was no information about Hybrids there.

And I thought my mind was blown when I saw the meteor fragments meld into one.

"You know what, forget I said anything," I said. The mere thought of such a thing happening left me exasperated. "Although I gotta ask: What do you plan to do with the meteorite once you have all the pieces of it?"

From seemingly nowhere, a very high pitched sound would make itself known throughout the HQ. More specifically, to those located within the main room. If one were to give a good description, it'd sound similar to what a teapot might make when the water inside has come to a boil. Or perhaps, the sound a female teenager would make upon meeting whoever her current famous idol might be.

Whatever the case may be, the cause of the sound would soon be known as a pair of brown-furred arms circled themselves around Sub's midsection to clasp on front of his stomach. Leaving the creature to which those arms belonged at his back and, given how tightly she was holding onto the boy, just out of his sight.

The noise that had previously announced the girl's arrival would easily be identified as the fangirl squeal of the creature currently holding very tightly onto the boy, "ohmygoshyouarejustsoadorableivealwayslovedhumansyouknowandohmydid

However, should the boy look around he might notice a few clues as to the identity of whatever had him. First of all, the creature that held him was most definitely a hybrid, if for nothing else than the brown fur covering her arms. Second, the very arms that currently held him, the boy might notice the pink fluff that circled the wrists of each of the arms that held him. Finally, and most importantly, the long pink ears that were just barely visible within his peripheral. Then, of course, if the boy were able to understand anything from the girl's fangirl squeal, he'd know that he was being held tightly in the grasp of a shiny Lopunny hybrid.


However, that's what it'd appear to Sub. Anyone else in the room, however, would simply see Night with her Zorua, Eris, upon her head and using her illusion capabilities to make certain parts of the girl's body appear as a shiny Lopunny. Namely the only parts that could be seen by the pink-haired boy.

"I guess... if that's the only answer. I'd be worried about something like that being around here, but I guess it'd be a danger no matter where it's at. Guess it's best to lock it away. I just hope it doesn't come back to bite us later on."

I nodded to Night as she passed. My curiosity peaked when I noticed that odd grin on her face, but I decided pretty quickly that I probably didn't want to know what had her so amused.

I was gonna find out in about a second or two anyway.

Lucius's idea sounded like a very good one suddenly, though I wondered why that was. "It is starting to get late. Goodnight." With that, I headed to my room.

"Ow, goddammit, V!" Night shouted, flinching back at the curse that hit her. The illusion Eris had cast stayed strong, though. "Jeez, what is with you in attacking first and questioning crap later?"
