Given the beating he took, he might want to tread carefully. Otherwise he can do as he wishes as long as he can deal with the Republic Forces that remain.

And what of the squadron? We're now with split orders. Technically, we could even go freelance.

But TEF, being a servant of the Republic in theory, could essentially visit Coruscant for say... business? Or shore leave for my men?

You'd have no orders there, and to go all the way to coruscant for shore leave is like saying I'm going to australia to grab some sand.

I intend for something of a fighter duel between us and the sith, but that remains to be seen otherwise depending on orders.

I forget who the GM is on this one, but I don't want to control NPCs, at least, not without knowing if they would support my cause. So I pose this question: ~Would the fellow captains of my battle group be up for what I have planned, be it involving freeing Stryder?

@Nelo: The Republic Orders are to hold the line and wait for Republic Reinforcements. The TEF Orders are to fall back to Tett. Which side are you on and which side is your captain on?
@Jaden: They're Mercenaries so they go where the profit is. If you've led them well, they may be supportive but dont forget they dont usually fight for ideals.

I could have sworn I told you they were Mercs' before. No offense but I'm not about to let some random Mercenary lead Tett Troops.

Yes but in all reality it would be very careless of the American high command if they gave command of two American battleships to some French mercenary simply because he showed up in the midst of a battle and terminated a signifigant portion of the enemy force, wouldnt it? In addition, I may have the Force but that does not, contrary to what some people think, imply omnipotence. As of right now you're the only one who knows about this break out attempt.
