"Dont you get it Fate?...if you died because of me...I dont know what I'd do" Zeek tells her crying even more as he buried his his face into her stomach. Then looking up, he tells her "I wish I could stay with you...forever Fate, but I cannot, I love you...but if I stay with you, you might get killed". He buries his face again, "it pains me to say this...but you would be better off without me".

larten just shrugged. he didn't like her father.

"Zeek....If I'm not with you, I'll die anyway. I'd rather die in your arms, then knowing that I couldn't be with the man I love. " Sh eheld his head tenderly, she kissed the top of it and cryed too. "I won't leave your side again, Zeek......I'll die if I have to...."

"I dont want to kill you Fate" Zeek tells her as he stands up. He sighs heavily, backing away from her as he spreads his tattered wings. The rain comes to a stop as the clouds part, allowing the moonlight to shine down on them.

"You won't. Trust me." She beconed, her voice weak and frail.

"I dont know what to do...Im lost and confused" Zeek starts to cry. "I am sorry Fate....my love" he tells her in a hushed tone before flying off, then he falls to the ground due to the fact that his wings were wet.

She knelt by him, being a vamp, it wasn't exactly hard to follow him. "Please......you won't hurt me. I can stop it..." She kissed him tenderly and nothing happened to her.

"But how?" Zeek asked her as he sat up. He sat there and wrapped hiis arms around her, "Ebon do what ever you want to me, I don't care...I love Fate".

"I had a chat with my sister reason, she granted me this power. You can't hurt me." She kissed him again.

"You did that?....for me?" he smiles warmly at her.

"So...? what do we do now, Fate" he asks her wiping his tears away.

"WE have to goi help kitty now. We promised her, remember?"

"Oh yeah...its going to be a long walk, want me to carry you?" he asks her. "It will not take as long if I fly us there".
