"Thats True..." Kari wanted to see what was under Kurai's eye, but since she was hiding it whenever Kari was around-she felt it was better not to look. "I wonder why?" Kari said this aloud, mainly to herself. She sat next to Kurai on the couch and decided to just stick by her. Anyways, she liked Kurai, she felt it was closest she could get to family. "Anywho...I think they kidnapped you because they how you used you power. Cleopatra is a power hungry freak." She felt accomplished saying this about Cleopatra. "Thats what I think...no to complex though...Looks like a job for sherlock holmes!"

Skyler could feel something coming. He felt the vibrations in the sand, "Leave the cups, we're going underground. Something's wrong." They all dissappeared and he headed to where Kari and Kurai were located. He bended the sand and sucked them under, "Shh.. It's just us. Woah, Kurai, your eye is glowing." He put Inferno down.
Smoke got very afraid. SHe wrapped a sheild around them, "Let's get out of here. It's getting too dangerous to be around here. OH! Wait." She turned to her particles and seeped to the surface to where the scrolls and books were. She collected them quickly and had the strangest feeling she was being watched. She looked up when she felt something move in the door way. SHe screamed and dodged an attack as a creature swooped down at her with a sword.
Nile pirked his ears when Smoke screamed. He turned into his water form and seeped to the surface. He then turned to his dog form and growled and attacked the dead army creature. He turned into ice then into steam, giving the creature frost bite and then a burn. Smoke turned to her particles, "NILE COME ON!" She quickly got to the others, "WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!"

Kari was trying to pull her eyes away from Kurai's magic purple eye-but it easier said than done. Within a blink of her eye, she wasn't sitting on Kurai's lap but on the sand, seeing Smoke, Inferno, Skylar and Nile. "Woah." She said as she got up.
She watched Smoke run off, and then heard a scream. She saw Smoke running and shouting for them to escape. "Don't tell me they found us?" Kari said, clearly exausted. She scooped X up into her arms, and followed the others. "Where's Terra? We can't leave her!"

Smoke realized Kurai and Terra weren't with them, "Nile, I want you to go get Kurai. I am going to go find Terra. Skyler," She looked at him, "Find a safe place. A public place if possible. Fast. I'll find you guys when I get Terra." She dissappeared and went to look for Terra.
Nile appeared next to Kurai. He could sense her heat and cold flashes. He saw the dead army creature and attacked it by freezing and burning it suddenly. The creature fell to the ground but kept going towards Kurai, but he was severely wounded. Nile wrapped himself around Kurai and secured her in his elemental. He then started to carry her and started to stabilize her temperature by heating himself to a normal human temperature.
Skyler grabbed Kari and flung her onto his back, "Hang on." He scooped Inferno into his arms, "This may feel strange at first, but you'll get use to it." The sand started to shift and push them, but it wasn't just pushing them, it was also going through them.

Nile knew what Kurai wanted, but he couldn't give it to her. He was sad for not being able to help her, but Smoke gave him a direct order. His childish voice said, "I am sorry Kurai... Smoke gave me an order and I must obey it. You aren't able to escape my grip, even if you use a portal on me. I am inside of you, and out side of you. But I will help you as much as I can without disobeying Smoke. I know what it is you are seeking, answers to what Cleopatra knows. I can read your mind... it is how i communicate. Cleopatra did not put this curse on you. It is poison from a plant that only Tirain knows of.. unless..." Nile trailed off as he thought to himself.
Smoke saw some of the creatures and hid. She could sense Terra's body but she was too far away. An idea came to her and Smoke moved some of the particles on the other side of the street to make it seem like someone was in there. The creatures ran in the building and Smoke quickly disintegrated into the air and ran to where Terra was. She was hiding behind some rocks. Smoke formed just her head and whispered, "Terra, come on we have to go!" She grabbed her and made the particles move through both of them. Smoke then moved some particles in a different direction to distract the dead creatures and she started to run with Terra on her back.

"That's good! That you got one down. I'm glad you aren't hurt. Do you know if Cleo and Tirain are here?" She went higher into the air where there were less particles to play with. It messed up Smoke's ability to pass the particles through their bodies because of the few particles, but they were still invisible.
Skyler could sense something behind them as he ran. He focused all of his abilities and shot them out of the sand. He bended some of it to go into the air and he ran up a make shift sand staircase. He made templates that could float into the air and kept running. He said, "Inferno, be my eyes in the back. Tell me what you see behind us." He moved her so she could see behind him better. "Kari, I want you to try your hardest to not fall if any danger comes. Hang on tight, even if you start to choke me."

I sighed.."Nile im not trying to escape you, even if i wasnt so weak, i would never try" i paused thinking. "I dont think it was Tirain that did this to me, it happened before i was captured...but i cant move my legs thought but im not sure whether that is his fault..." i was becoming depressed, Seriously a DOG was holding me captive from my own will. "Nile, how would you feel if someone or something stopped you from doing what you thought was right...i have had that done a lot to me latly and im tired of it....." i looked deep into his eyes hoping he would understand "Sometimes you just have to let people go, even if you care about them....."i whispered partly to myself and partly to Nile.
