Ms Edyn "Alright, Fish," Night said softly, attempting to calm the large serpent's rising temper. Especially at feeling as though he'd just been attacked by himself, "Just calm down and listen to my voice. We can and we will win this. Now, this darkness won't last forever, we simply have to go on the defensive and wait it out for a bit." Turning an annoyed glare back towards his trainer, Dorkfish grumbled softly. Apparently, he was not a fan of defensive strategies, "Now. Let's confuse these birds up a bit with your own Double Team." Huffing in irritation, Dorkfish slammed his tail on the ground once before doing as Night commanded and formed several copies of himself as well. Needless to say, the multiple Gyarados copies would make the room seem quite cramped. "Snatch." Sub commanded, without much emotion. Dorkfish would find that his Double Team would end in failure as the copies would disappear as soon as they appeared, and right now it couldn't be seen but Nevermore's own copies increased in number as she stole the Double Team for herself. "Give it up, Night, that guppy can't touch Nevermore."

Roaring in frustration, Dorkfish refused to wait for Night's next command and sent a wave of water crashing over the entire field.
"Dammit, Fish!" Night yelled, as she, too, was soaked by the serpent's Surf attack, "There was a reason why I didn't want you using such an attack!"

Well, while Night got caught in the Surf, so did Nevermore and two of its copies as they were actually harmed, disrupting the Night Shade as the darkness let up finally, revealing that there were now a grand total of eight Nevermore. "Ha, looks like that fish has finally lost it, good, let's us that anger against it, Nevermore, another Foul Play!" Sub commanded. The murder of Murkrow would swarm together in a ball as they conjured a shadowy copy of Dorkfish again, sending the doppelganger slamming into the dragon just like last time. One must wonder how much more Dorkfish could take, what with all these mind games.

Playing the creature's anger against itself. Well done, Sub.
Still, I had a feeling Night had something planned for just such an occasion.
That would have been my luck, if that was me down there. I'm lucky enough that it was not.

"Alright, Fish. Since you wanna be a pissy little thing, we can work with it," Night said, wringing the water from her tails, "Frustration."
Yes, the large fish surely was frustrated. Not just with his trainer but the battle as well. This bird should have been fish food by now. Gnashing his teeth together, Dorfish rushed forward again, intent on taking his frustration out on as many of the Nevermores as he could.

Not just with his trainer but the battle as well. This bird should have been fish food by now. Gnashing his teeth together, Dorfish rushed forward again, intent on taking his frustration out on as many of the Nevermores as he could. And this would be the nail in Dorkfish's coffin, so to speak. The real Nevermore would barely avoid getting hit as the fish plowed through most of its clones, now only three Nevermore left, but that was fine, as hopefully they would take care of this fish here and now. "Another Foul Play! Show Dorkfish his own anger!" Sub commanded. Just like the last two times Nevermore would send a shadowy version of Dorkfish at him, this time though it would have the strength of Dorkfish's own anger behind it, it was like beating yourself up, so the angrier Dorkfish got, the more abuse it took, though maybe this would be it for it.

"Dammit, Dorkfish. Get back here," Night said, recalling the Gyarados before he could fully be knocked out by himself, "You've gotta learn to better control your anger. Alright, V. You've got this round. Shall we go for round three?"
Tossing out a third ball, Night released her own ghost, Chandelure.

"Round three it is then, I hope this one can control its self better than the last. Now, let's cut the games shall we? Taunt." Sub commanded. Nevermore would squawked at the Chandelure in a taunting manner as the clones landed on the ground, waving a wing at the ghost to bring it on.

"Omen, Flame Charge. Take out as many of those copies as you can."
The ghostly flames adorning Omen's 'candles' quickly spread to cover the ghost as it flew forward, drifting through clone after clone. Taking out each one it could reach and hoping one of them would be the real bird.

Night's new pokemon grabbed my attention. I wasn't very familiar with it, so I took out my Academy Pokedex.
Chandelure, the Luring Pokemon
It absorbs a spirit, which it then burns. Being consumed in Chandelure's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind. By waving the flames on its arms, it puts its foes into a hypnotic trance.
Part Ghost, huh? And Sub claims another advantage. Still, I had to wonder what this Chandelure was capable of.

"Give her some Payback!" Sub ordered. Nevermore and all her clones would be hit by the rampaging Ghost, but this was what Sub wanted as the crow retaliated against the Chandelure, ramming into it as its body gave off a dark glow, its strength intensified as it took the damage it suffered to increase the power of the Dark type move. Either way though, Nevermore was on her last legs.

"Omen, let's finish this bird. Fire Blast," Night commanded, staring up at the two pokemon as the wall of ghostly flames left the Chandelure and hurdled straight towards the wounded Murkrow.

And that was it, Nevermore went down, hitting the ground with a thud as her feathers were slightly singed. Sub wasn't upset though, she proved herself and put up one heck of a fight, he was proud, and so she earned a good rest as he recalled the Pokemon to her ball. "Well then, that one gave you a little trouble huh? Don't get too relaxed, because it just gets worse from here." Sub sneered as he pocketed Nevermore's Dusk Ball and took out another.
"The thousand injuries of Night I had borne as I best could, but when she ventured upon insult, I vowed revenge...Monstressor, extract my revenge!" The Dark trainer cried out as he released his Tyranitar from the Dusk Ball. The massive beast would let out a prideful roar as its Sand Stream activated, kicking up a powerful sandstorm which engulfed the room. "Stone Edge!" Monstressor would slam its tail on the ground in reply to the command, sending jagged rocks shooting up out of the ground from underneath Chandelure as it did.
