Ya know, some of the new items they just put out today would have been great for last month's avatar contest. I think someone from the Gaia Design Team is spying on the AFG for ideas. wink

Are those actually worth something now? I remember when they were very common and it seemed like everyone had them. Did they make them more rare now?
Then again, I remember selling December 2003 donation letters for 5k and thinking that it was a lot, because at the time it was. lol

Speaking of that, do you have an active quest going with a progress bar?I don't have a progress bar, but I am questing for one. Fairly activly, though I just went on a major splurge with the new items. Amazingly though I still have about 100k going toward the skirt, so I'm a third of the way their, inflation willing. J- Yes, I feel so stupid for not picking one up. People used to practicly give them away, but I was too busy questing for other items at the time. Now they are worth about 300k. Part of it is probably do to the rare glitch that was going on for so long, the other part is just the natural inflation that has attacked all rares and donation items. XP

Nah, just do like I did and save donation items/letters every month. I have at least one letter from every month since I joined Gaia, and many in most cases. Get them cheap, save them a year or so, then sell some off. I just dig out an old item every so often and sell it... which gives me more than enough gold to spend on stuff and commissions for a long time. 3nodding

Sorry, not trying to brag or such. I have a lot of gold but I spend most of it on art and the AFG. I put up the gold to start it, and will put up the gold to pay the avatar contest winners when the AFG account runs out after this month. I don't just save it all and glaot. sweatdrop

Diana Vulpes What is funny is that even when you do end up with a nie bulk of gold, it can easily be drained away. Just about a month ago I had close to 3million and now just have a little over 1million. Wow, that is a major drain of gold. What did you spend it on?
