The facility would still have its lasers active, right? it's not like I hit the power on my way in or anything.

Yeah but at the moment their inactive. The Guards have to contain the breach in their perimeter before engaging the other external threats. That and they believe Republic help is on its way.

The whole galactic marines thing: you said this was a Trireme corvette. In the outlaws guide to the galaxy it says that a trireme corvette has a troop capacity of 300 marines. so im assuming that i have some kind of soldier. regardless of whether or not its marines.

The Galactic Marines are from the Clone Wars.
At best you got a bunch of mercs.

He wouldnt have Galactic Marines.
They would just be marines. They're Mercs so they're better caliber than your average Marine in regards to experience but thats it.
And they're not mandalorians either. Jaden's not yet enforced his culture on his crew.

Nope. He struck out on his own.
He captured his Trireme on his own and Stryder assigned him command of a detacthment of mercs that he had hired.
The Mercenary group consists of the Trireme's crew and the two Hammerheads.

Plus, the last thing the mandos want to do is be at war with both the sith and the republic. they can barely hold their own ground against the sith empire right now as is, much less really take on two empires.

Exactly. Though I do prefer working with the Sith against the Republic, working with the Republic against say... the Vong has its perks too.
But yes, Fury, I am a lonely Mandalorian. Maybe someone else wants to come work for Stryder and keep me company with their good humours and pretty face?
Cale: I'll tweak the post so they are simply merc soldiers.
