Dodgeball is sick. The emergency vet said he may have FIV (feline AIDS) but we're going to wait until tomorrow to bring him in to our regular vet.
Also...we had a huge load of horse manure dropped off today so I've been shovelling for 2 hours and me arms are sore >.< oh well..better get back to work.

Oh boy.... my friend is completely and utterly stoned..... According to her she had weed, draw (resin... which is some brick thingy) and E. She also apparently find bongs cool and "smoked out of yoda's head" today. While she's happy now...... I'm going to hate the after effects of this.

shoki_de_nai KittyPawprints Leyla Giselle KittyPawprints UglyCoyoteNG I'm well and truely aware of what Mutilate means. They picked your art as a good example. Get over it, really. You have nothing to do with that site, and I think your just making alot of drama out of it. Chill,Kakky, its not like they're saying your art is crap. I'd count that image as maim or mutilating too. Kakky's art has always been a sensitive spot for her, and I'm not surprised that she's upset. And quite frankly, judging the manner of the article in question, I can't really blame her. It's basically someone using her art in their own creation without even telling her. I think all artists agree that no permission = very, very BAD thing to do. On a side note that has nothing to do with this topic, I absolutely LOVE your avatar, NG! 4laugh Technically they didn't use her art without permission, they only linked to it That's still technically using it. How would you feel if I was writing a highly negative, potentially offensive article about something and then linked to a picture you had drawn to use as an example for said offensive material? I'm just saying I agree with Kakky on this one....I don't wanna argue too much about it anyway. sweatdrop Seconded. Kakky has every right to be upset. I would be too if someone used my art, without my consent, to bash someone else on a moronic website full of s**t. Point: Her art was used (even though it was just a link!) without her consent, and was used for stupid purposes. It's HER art she can be upset. As fellow artists, I'm not sure why you don't get that NG and Leyla. I think people who get offended either have their heads shoved too far up their asses or have depression issues, either way, I see nothing really offensive about it. I would feel flattered and humored if someone did that about me razz

And Kakky is offended by this, and decided to rant because that's what this ******** thread is for. Being offended that one's art is being used without permission for anything, let alone to offend someone else does not mean their head is up their a**. Don't you always post on here when somone calls your nude art porn? Fine, I'll go make an entry about how all furries are giant perverts and use your art , without permission (don't worry, I'll just link it), as examples since it's naked furries. Don't tell me that wouldn't at least bother you. Kakky has every ******** right to be upset about this and doesn't need people bashing her for defending her own art. Blame this on my depression if you want to, that's fine with me. But, just so you know...Depression does mean you get easily offended.

Not that I wish to get involved with this, but not everyone can be as strong-willed and cheerfully blasé about what other people think of them, Leyla.
I say, if a thing is written to irritate someone, it will. Don't be so scornful of others who don't have as high a breaking point as you. razz

To show you how 'bad' my university can be. I'll show you some extra homework 4 students got (including me) for being smart arses and doing the entire class work in just 1 hour (or less). This hasn't been completed by anyone, although I've found a logical solution to how to solve it. This is what we had to do: Quote: Ax+By+Cz=p Dx+Ey+Fz=q Gx+Hy+Iz=r Solve for x, y and z. Your program also must be able to workout if any of the equations have degenerated into a single equation and if so, which ones have done this. You have to modify what you did in this class to solve this. This is the code for that class which I finished easily: #include void main() { float A,B,C,D,p,q,det,x,y; printf("Ax + By = p/nCx + Dy = q/n/nThis program will calculate the value of x and y./nPlease enter in the following parameters:/n/n") printf("A=") scanf("%f", &A) printf("B=") scanf("%f", &B) printf("C=") scanf("%f", &C) printf("D=") scanf("%f", &D) printf("p=") scanf("%f", &p) printf("q=") scanf("%f", &q) printf("n") det=A*D-B*C; if ((det<0.001) && (det>-0.001)) { printf("ERROR: The two algebraic equations have degenerated to one single equation./n") } else { x=(p*D-q*B)/det; y=(q*A-p*C)/det; printf("x=%f/ny=%f", x,y) } } Now who is glad they're an artist and not a programmer? rofl sweatdrop EDIT: The code isn't appearing on gaia properly. There is meant to be /n (although the / is meant to be the other way around) in certain places, but it's not showing up. It's mearly showing n

Right now you have disrespected me. I posted because I felt upset that my art was being used in such a way even if it was only linked and wanted to get it off my chest because in fact that is what the purpose of this thread is for.. But I get bashed for it because some of you aren't offended by that kind of thing. We are totally different people who will react differently in a situation. Please understand that and be respectful. The others who had opinions like my own, please be respectful towards who don't.
Now, drop this issue and move on.

Ok, this is a general reminder to everyone, this thread is suppose to be a safe haven for people to post and vent. I know sometimes issues can get touchy, and that snide or base remark might seem so easy to type, but this just isn't the place. This thread is suppose to be a warm inviting place, where you can post about your troubles and know you are safe. Yes, you can give advice, but don't blow of someones worries as being unimportant. It is so much easier just to keep your fingers stilled if you don't have something nice to say.
Rainy- I hope Dodgeball is ok. Keep us posted
Hunter- Ahhh stop with the confusing formulas! (covers her eyes) Your making my brain hurt.

Eddily I had an advanced Java class, and I don't even know what some of that is... xd Well.... Java is harder than what I'm doing sweatdrop but if you haven't done the language C, then I can understand why you don't know what some of it is.
