Yeah, that's always a possiblity. Though, you'd think Chidee, after going to all this trouble...whatever, it might let him survive.
And hey, he's on Mustafar, the planet is full of lava pits. Lava! Ain't going to kill a self-respecting villian who still has plans for sequels.

Well...the ol' Villian's Lava Trick is generally one of the few accepted godmodding fuctions, though it can be irritating when overused.
I mean, if he wants to godmode...hmm...godmode out of the orbital bombardment, which bounces him into a conveniently placed lava pit that no one ever checks. xd

Doom? Eh, maybe once or twice, when I played remakes.
As for the fleet...he's probably making Mustafar his main base, so he's got, one would assume, of a significant presence there.

Well acording to what I've read, the old Sepratist bunker there was one of the most secure facilities in the galaxy at that time.
Until the Anakin/Obi-wan duel when the repulsor fields were shut down and the place was flooded with lava.
still, if you could find a way to locate it and rebuild it, it might make a pretty good fortress of evil.

As for Doom, yes. Plenty of times. I still have an emulator of it somewhere.

Oh, the fortress? My semi-joke was that the lower levels of the fortress were gutted by the lava, but the upper levels were still in use by the Mustafarians (hence the long burn marks along a part of the hallway xd ).
